"Ashton!! Oh my God!!" Rebel pretty much sprinted out her doorway to me.
"What happened?" I said with complete confusion at the way she was kind of sadly talking/screaming.
"Oh my God!!! You haven't heard yet?!?!"
"What?!"

She pulled me into her house by my sleeve and quickly ran to the tube and switched it onto the news channel...

Next thing I hear...

News Anchor: Today there's been a terrible tragedy folks. I'm coming to you from downtown San Antonio to report the biggest collision I've seen in the past few years. There has been a report of over 14 people dead. Among those 14 were a family of four. Irene Silva, 33; Dennis Garcia, Sr., 30' Desirree Garcia, 5; and Dennis Garcia, Jr., 2. Their car hit head on with a 16-wheeler...

After that, all I could hear was the dense beating ove my heart as tears started to fill my eyes. I couldn't believe it! The only close family I had was taken from me so suddenly. It all happened so fast. I just lost it. I started crying and banging my hands on the floor as I could. Tears were flowing from my face like as if they were a raging river powered by my extreme sadness.

"Nooo!!!!" I cried almost hysterically, "They can't do this to me!!! They can't!! It's not real!!! They can't be dead!!!
