When Goldfish invade ...
Here, I'll enlighten you a bit. My name is Tayla Johnston, I live in a small place in California where not much happens. I'm 16 and have known my best friend, Billie Joe Armstrong since I was 6. My other two buds are Mike Pitchard and Frank Wright (who I know as Tre Cool) I'm an only child and live with my mum, my dad left before I was even born so he doesn't give a damn about me, and I don't give a damn about him either, Grrr! I am an average height, have shoulder length dark brown hair with two purple streaks and my friends comment that my eyes are CHOCOLATE brown. I like chocolate, chocolate is yummy. If you don't like chocolate you shouldn't read this story, because chocolate is the BEST!!!!!!!!
3rd February
Tayla's Point of View still
I woke up to the sound of my mom scurrying around downstairs, most likely preparing for my BIRTHDAY!!!!! Yes, today was my birthday and my mom was (hopefully =P) getting me a cool birthday present and cake. I reluctantly got up and dressed into some dark blue jeans, black shirt and straightened my hair. I don't usually wear too much make up except every now and then when I use black eye liner. When I got downstairs my mom popped out of the corner and shouted "SURPRISE!!!" I gasped in shock. Every birthday my mum tries to surprise me with my present so I just go along with it and act all surprised, but honestly, how could I forget its my birthday? She showed me the huge chocolate cake she got for me as I opened my small present ... a dog collar?
"Um ... why did you get me a dog collar? Am I a dog? WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME EARLIER THAT I WAS REALLY A DOG!!??" I burst at my mom.
She just chuckled and said, "its not for you, its for your new puppy, Chika!"
At that moment a Mini Fox Terrier puppy came bouncing out of the kitchen towards me.
"Awww! She's sooooo cute, thanks mom!" I said in amazement as I picked Chika up and hugged her. My goldfish seemed as if it was looking evilly at Chika. I stared at my fish suspiciously, then brushed the thought off, goldfish don't go around giving evil eyes to dogs ... do they?
Tayla's Point Of View
I played with Chika until I was almost late for school, then rushed out the door to run to school. I wasn't a slow runner but I wasn't exactly fast either so I made it to school just on time. I went to my History Class (great, my FAVOURITE SUBJECT) and sat beside Mike, as usual. At this time Billie and Tre would be at Maths, so Mike and I passed notes all through the class since History wasn't exactly entertaining.
Lunchtime
After class Mike and I rushed over to the cafeteria to meet Tre and Billie
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!"; they greeted me so loudly that many passing students stared
"Hi,"; Mike said
"I GOT A PUPPYYYYYYYYYYY!!"; I said even louder than both Billie and Tre
"What?"; said Billie in surprise
"COOOOOL!!!!"; Shouted Tre as he grinned liked a maniac.
Okay, many, many passing people stared at us like we were insane.
"I got a Mini Foxy named Chika for my birthday, she's so cute and is going to sleep at the end of my bed, and has a cute collar, and toys, and EVERYTHING!!!! You can see it this afternoon when you come over!"; I said happily to them all
I'd been planning my birthday for weeks, I was gonna invite heaps of people and there would be a huge party at my house!
During lunch we walked around the schools fields talking about the party, they also has some joints, but I didn't. I refuse to try one because my only Aunty and Uncle died from them. They're horrible things that kill, KILL I TELLS YOU KILL!!!! I had no one else except my mom and my half brother, who was 15 years old. I think he lives somewhere in Australia so I don't see him much.
English Class
It was half way through class ...
"Could Miss Tayla Johnston please go to the principal's office?"; said Kerrod who had just come in through the door (well, nah, he came in through the WINDOW) He was the sad and lonely geek of the school, the one who scurries around helping the teachers and principal, and getting special attention from them. I was nervous. People don't usually get called to the principal's office, except for bullies, Billie, Tre and Mike.
I walked into his office
"Good afternoon Miss Johnston,"; he said
"Hullo Principal Berryman"; I replied dully, If I was in trouble, I'd probably been seen chewing gum at lunch. Berryman was an old geezer, that's all I can say about him.
"Miss Johnston, there has been an incident involving your mother"; he stated.
I gasped, in real shock this time, what the hell could've happened!?
