"Tre'... Seth?"
I looked up to see my brother, Ryan. "This isn't what it looks like."
"Seth I think you better go home before Aunt Tally gets worried." With that I got out of the pool and got my shoes on and walked out. Ryan turned and followed.
"What... with... Tre'?"
"It is none of your business, Ryan!"
"Yes it is. You said that you wouldn't go out with him."
"Ryan, just leave me alone!"
I started to run until I was tripped by someone. "Sorry, my bad."
"Who are you?"
"The name is Billie Joe Armstrong, and you are?"
"Seth Watson."
"Why do you have a guy name?"
"My stupid parents."
"Oh, so did you just come back from Tre' Cool's?"
"Yea actually I would have stayed longer but my twin brother told me to go home."
"Who is your twin?"
"Ryan Watson."
"Dude we are tight with him."
"Wow. So I am guessing you, Tre', and Mike are his friends."
"Yea."
"So, Tre' said that you were coming to hang out with us tomorrow."
"Yea, just hopefully my brother doesn't go all protective on me."
"Well speaking of your brother there he is."
I turned around to see Ryan.
"That is telling me I better go. So I will see you tomorrow."
"Ok bye."
I took off and ran to my aunt's house. "Where is Ryan?"
"Oh he is coming."
"Ok. Well it is time to get ready for bed."
"All right." I walked up the stairs and into my room.
I heard the front door open and waited for an angry brother to come up. About 5 minutes later Ryan came in my room. "What were you doing with Tre'?"
"None of your business."
"Yes it is. You are my sis and he is my friend."
"What about it?"
"Well, Tre' can get kind of weird some times."
"What is so bad about that?"
"Well... Tre' takes things a little too far."
"Ryan, I am old enough to take care of myself."
"Sometimes I wonder if you are."
I just looked at him. "Ryan, get out of my room!"
I then pushed him out and locked the door. Just then my cell phone rang. "Hello?"
"Hey girl."
"Hey Tre'."
"So why did you have to leave?"
"My brother can't stand me having a boyfriend."
"Wow! Your brother is so weird."
"Tell me about it."
"Hey do you think you can come in your backyard?"
"Yea."
"Ok, see you out here."
We both hung up and I went downstairs. "Aunt Tally, I am going to go outside."
"All right. Just be in before 11."
"Ok."
I walked to the back door and out it. Tre' was sitting in the grass.
I smiled to myself. He turned and jumped up, "Hey."
"Hey."
He came over to me and kissed my cheek. "So why is brother so protective? Aren't you older?"
"Yea I am. But he has been protective of me for a long time."
"Must be hard living with him." I just nodded
He then pressed his lips to mine. Just then the back door opened and Ryan stood there. We just continued kissing.
"Tre', I think it time for you to go and Seth to come in."
"What the fuck man?"
"Seth go in now."
"No. I don't have to go in until 11." He just stood there looking at us. Tre' snaked his arm around my waist.
"Dude get your arm off my sister!"
"He doesn't have to Ryan!" He just stood there and looked at me. Tre' pulled me closer to him.
Ryan turned and walked in the house. "Maybe you should go see if he is ok."
"Yea. See you tomorrow."
"Bye."
I walked over to the door and opened it. Ryan was sitting on the floor. "Ryan, I'm sorry. It's just that you are so protective-"
"I know I am. It's just that I care about you Seth."
"I know you do. It's just you go over board."
"I know. I know."
"Come on don't beat yourself up."
"I'm not."
It was silent until our aunt broke it. "Kids, its 10:30. Time to go to bed!"
"All right."
We got up and went into our rooms. As soon as my head hit the pillow I fell asleep.
