Time just flies by, doesn’t it?, chapter 6
"How did you put him back to sleep? You didn't knock him out, did you?" he asked me. I laughed.
"No, I just gave him some medicine. He needed it badly, and it took real fast effect." I said proudly. Tre' looked at me strangely.
"You killed him didn't you...." He said.
"Heh, not this time. Could've though, he had a bad enough attitude." I said. I waited until Billie Joe's parents came before going back into the room. "I had to give him something to knock him out for a while, he woke up in the strangest of attitudes. I don't think it was him."
"What'd he do?" his mother, Ollie asked.
"For one he said something about why anyone would let me touch them with my hands, and then I was about to say something and he asked me if I was going to eat him." I said, remembering everything.
"Oh, that's him. He hasn't changed. He don't know you, he takes after his brother, David."
"Yes he does." His father said.
"Are you his father?" I asked him.
"His step-father." His mother said. I looked at him and then to Billie. Billie looked nothing like him. Though I was mad at him I must admit, Billie is quite handsome, and this man, he's ugly! He looked at me and began to speak.
"I'll take care of him tonight, when he gets home."
"Honey, he just got knocked out, I'd be a bit upset too if that happened." She looked at me and tried to smile. I realized that something was wrong, so I looked to him.
"It doesn't really matter, kids have said worse before, it was just a few words." I said, trying to get him to change his mind.
"He hasn't a reason to be a jerk, he can be dealt with." Ollie looked upset.
"We'll come and pick him up later, after school." She said.
"We can take him now." He responded.
"Honey, we don't want him to miss too much school, he needs to stay. Let's go." I looked at Billie and sighed.
"We'll keep him here. I need to make sure he's alright before he leaves anyway, and it may take a while." I could tell that the father must do some rather cruel things because Ollie didn't want to take him home. I hope he didn't do what my father did; make me wait in a room all day with nothing but bread and water. That was the worst treatment that we got in the school, never worse.
"Honey, let's go, she said she had to do a check up anyway." She took hold of her husbands arm and pulled him out the door. "Thank you." She mouthed. I nodded. I looked over at Billie, why was she acting like that? After five minutes he began to wake up. I walked over to him and looked at him. He opened his eyes and jumped.
"Wh-where am I?" he asked nervously.
"In the nurses room." He didn't seem as though he would act like he had been, and I hoped he didn't. He looked at me and tried to get up. Apparently he wasn't having as bad of time of doing so. He pushed himself up and held his head.
"Why does my head hurt?" he asked while looking at me.
"Your friend knocked you over on accident," I said accident in a different tone so he wouldn't think he did it on purpose, "and you hit your head." He looked at me and then to the window.
"Why did he knock me over?" he asked. He wasn't as bad as before, the only bad thing is that I think he may have lost his memory! He looked at me and sighed. "Which one?" he asked, not looking away.
"Tre' Cool." I said. He looked at me like he was confused.
"Him? Why?"
"He was trying to get your attention, and it wasn't working. That's all I know, and yes, him." He looked away and into space, not literally.
"Uh, can I go?" he was the only person I'd had in here who hadn't wanted to stay in here longer.
"Can I ask you a question first?"
"Why?" he asked. I ignored his response and kept talking.
"What does your step-father do when you get in trouble?"
"I don't wanna tell you that. That's my business." He said. Maybe he hadn't actually lost his memory, but he was still looking a little wobbly. He looked at me and shook his head. "Sorry, but I won't answer that." I moved over to the door and opened it for him.
"You can go then." I said, a little disappointed. He got up and walked out, saying bye.
"Billie! I'm so sorry!" I heard Tre' say as soon as he walked out. Tre' got up and walked over to him, Mike close behind. The girl wasn't sitting there anymore, she must've left. I don't think she is too fond of him, really. He walked out the door with the other two following close behind.
"You three need to go to your fifth period classes. No wondering around the halls, and Mike, do not smoke around him, especially at the minute." I warned. He smiled and closed the office door behind him.

I felt my head again as we were walking down the hall. I was headed to room 203, I had math now, I hated it. I was the worst person to ever do a math problem. Well, lets put it this way, I do good at it, but I pay no attention to the teachers, but I never do anymore. But now that Lily was gone I would have to, I've got no one else to talk to, even if she wasn't in my math class. I said bye to Mike and Tre' and walked into the room. Mr. Anderson looked up as I walked in.
"Oh Billie, how is your head? That was quite a hard fall."
"Fine." I said, sitting in the back row next to Claire, a rather heard headed bitch. She looked over at me as I sat down and smiled.
"So, why'd you fall and not let me see? I would have loved to be there." She snickered. I hated her so much. She hated me too, so we are even. I didn't answer her, just looked up to the front of the room. She passed a note to me while Mr. Anderson was talking about what had gone on.
Dear ass,
Who did it? Wasn't it Tre'? What a friend! But I can't blame him, I want you dead, so why wouldn't he? He was just trying to do the job for me!
I looked at her, she smiled. I didn't bother passing her a note, I'd be in trouble, my stupid step-father would get a call from the school, and then the worst would happen again, and again.
"No, I just gave him some medicine. He needed it badly, and it took real fast effect." I said proudly. Tre' looked at me strangely.
