Billie Joe Armstrong Is My Neighbor And Yes, I love Him, chapter 10
PART 10
The ambulance arrived at Rachel's house about 10 minutes later. When The paramedics got into the house, Rachel was asleep, with Sara by her side.
"Is she still breathing?" one of the paramedics asked.
"Yeah, she is." Said Sara
"Ok then she's probably going to make it. As long as she doesn't go unconscious, and is still breathing regularly, she should be fine." Another paramedic said, as they put Rachel on a stretcher out to the ambulance.
"Do you want to ride in the ambulance Miss?" One of the guys asked Sara.
"Yeah. I want to."
The ambulance was headed to the hospital, and Sara, along with the paramedics, tried to talk to Rachel. To keep her from falling asleep, and to avoid becoming unconscious. The ambulance arrived at the hospital, and Rachel went into the emergency room. Doctors came in and put her on some medication, to help how her body was feeling. The Doctors then took some tests to try and see if anything else was wrong with Rachel. Then they brought Rachel into a hospital room, and awaited for the test results. Sara stayed with Rachel, to comfort her and make sure she would be ok.
"Rachel, how are you feeling?" Sara asked, in a calming voice.
"I-I'm ok.." Rachel said, as the medicine started to work. Causing her energy level to rise back to normal. "Where am I?"
"At the hospital. You blanked out from not eating," Sara said.
"Eating? Ok," Rachel said, sounding confused
"Oh that's right! I'll call Billie Joe for you."
"Billie who?" Rachel asked
"Billie Joe Armstrong..Your boyfriend. Rach, are you ok?" Sara asked, sounding worried that her friend might be going crazy.
"WOW! I have a boyfriend!?" Rachel said "Oh and by the way, who are you?"
"I'm Sara..Your best friend. Rachel, how do you not remember all of these things?"
"Rachel? Who is Rachel?
"That's you! Oh my God. I'm going to go get the Doctor," Sara said, as she fled the room looking for the doctor.

The Doctor came into Rachel's room, with Sara following him.
"She just can't remember anything!" Sara told the Doctor, panicking a little.
"I think I know what the problem is," the doctor started saying.
"You see, the test results came out, and there seems to be nothing threatening her body. But, I've come to a conclusion. Since Rachel suddenly stopped eating most of her meals throughout the day, that kind of behavior can cause a person to lose energy quickly, pass out, and even small cases of amnesia might occur. Since this was all within less than two weeks time, the effects on the body seem to be more severe than if she slowly stopped eating over time. But don't worry, the amnesia should only last two weeks at the most. Just do normal everyday activities with her, and get her back into the habit of her regular schedule."
"Wow." Sara said, with a shocked look on her face. "So should she stay here tonight?"
"I think maybe three more nights here. You know, to get her back on track, and eating again." The Doctor told Sara.
"Alright. I guess I should stay with her. So that she has a sense of what it was like before." Sara said while sitting in the chair next to Rachel's bed.
"That's fine. Now excuse me while I go make some phone calls," the Doctor said, while leaving the room, leaving Sara alone with Rachel.
"Rachel, don't worry. All of this is going to get better," Sara told her friend.
"All of what?" Rachel asked.
"Never mind. I think I should call Billie Joe now, to let him know what's going on with you. Good think your cell is here, or I wouldn't know his number!" Sara said
"Oh yeah my boyfriend; Jillie Boe." Rachel said
"Billie Joe," Sara corrected her
"Yeah, Millie Joe," Rachel argued
"Ehh..whatever. Let's see, where's his number. Found it! Ok, Rachel I'm calling him now," Sara said as she dialed the numbers and waited for Billie to answer.
"Hello? Rachel?" Billie Joe answered, hoping that it was his girlfriend calling.
"Actually this is Rachel's Friend, Sara."
"Oh, hi. Where's Rachel?" Billie asked, sounding confused and worried about what was going on.
Sara began to tell Billie the whole story, from Rachel not eating, to her having amnesia. Billie was totally shocked, and couldn't believe what he was being told.
"Holy Shit! Is she ok now?!" Billie asked
"Yeah, she's fine. She just doesn't know, well, anything really."
"Well, I do have some good news aside from all this. The rest of out tour got cancelled, so we're on a plane back to the U.S right now!" Billie said
"That's great! Rachel won't know who the hell you are though."
"Yeah, but I just want to see her. And besides, you said that she should be back to normal in a couple of weeks. Right?"
"Yeah. And it will be good for her to see you," Sara said.
"Well, I'll be there soon. Nice talking to you Sara," Billie Said
"Yeah, you too," Sara said, still sounding sad about her friend.
Billie and the rest of Green Day were arriving soon. They all had to do their part in helping their frontman's girlfriend's memory come back. But, will her memory ever come back?
