Why Does It Always Rain On Me?, chapter 6
[Recap: Billie and Adie when to Lynn's house. Lynn kicked them out, she moved into Mona's house until they go to school in three months. :End Recap]
The next morning when I woke up, I at first didn't realize where I was. But then I remembered all the events that happened the previous day.
Walking up the steps I trip and fall, "Fuck! Why does this always happen!?" I yell.
"Maybe because you're weird like that," I look up and see, of course... Billie Joe. Okay now he's just pissing me off. I get back up and stand there.
"What the hell? Why do you always pop up like that? It's not cool... just leave me alone." I said walking back down and sitting on my bed. He laughed and walked down and sat next to me.
"Mona called me this morning, said we should hang out." He replied.
"Then go hang out with her," I said getting up and walking up the stairs.
"She meant all of us, y'know like old times you, me, Mike, and Mona." He said following me, god was he pissing me off.
"I don't want too," was all I said walking into the kitchen.
"Why not, afraid you'll fall for me again?" Yuck, I thought.
"No... I just don't want to. And please... fall for you? Pfft, never again," I said feeling nauseous after he said that.
"Then come hang out with us, it won't be that bad."
"Only if you bring Adrienne."
"Why?"
"Because, then it will be basically like you aren't there"
"C'mon I'm not all over her all the time."
"Hah... I don't believe that one bit."
"Well you would know."
I had enough of his smart-aleck remarks.
"You know what Billie," I said turning around to face him, "why don't you go and put a stick up your..." I got cut off by Mona.
"Whoa there slick, calm down!" She said walking into the room.
"Thank you Mona I appreciate that," Billie said smirking at me, I just rolled my eyes and walked out of the room. I wanted to strangle him so bad, make him feel pain.
When I started walking into the basement Billie grabbed my arm turning me around to face him.
"So... want to start where we left off?" He said in a seductive voice.
"Not in a million years," I said pushing him away and locking the basement door behind me.
Mona's P.O.V
Billie walked into my house early the next morning.
"What the hell!" I said jumping up from the couch walking over to him, "You think you can just walk in when ever you please?"
"Yeah," he said in response holding out his arms for a hug. I laugh and hug him.
"What do you want?" I ask.
"Just wanted to know if you guys were up for a day of fun" he said smiling.
"I am, don't know about Lynn. But you probably only want to because of her," I said, smirking.
"Lynn? No... just wanted to hang out," I could see he was lying.
"You know Billie, I've been meaning to ask you... do you still like Lynn?"
"Uh... no...?" that was a straight out lie.
"Yeah sure," I said.
"It's true!" He replied.
"Then why are you... acting weird around her then?" Let's see what he comes up with now.
"I don't know... just want to have fun messing with her mind."
"Wow, if that's true Billie, that's a little harsh."
"We made up didn't we?"
"Yeah but still... it's not nice."
"C'mon... you know I wouldn't do it unless I thought it would cause trouble right?"
"Yeah I know." Damn.
"Promise you won't tell Lynn?"
"Promise" I said.
"Good, now where is she?"
"I think she's still asleep, but she's in the basement. I'm sure she'll wake up soon."
"Okay... because I want to freak her out."
Billie walked off and stood by the basement door, for a couple of minutes, until we heard footsteps. He got ready to scare her, but then we heard a loud noise and "fuck!" I laughed a little. Billie tried not to laugh.
Then we heard her say something else that's when Billie started to talk.
I didn't hear the rest because I walked off to go watch some more TV.
A couple more minutes passed by and it was commercial time so I decided to go and get some cereal.
When I walked into the kitchen Lynn started getting pissed so I had to stop her.
"Whoa slick calm down!" I said walking over to the fridge.
"Thanks Mona I appreciate that," I heard Billie say, I didn't respond. Lynn walked out of the room, shortly after I heard Billie leave too.
I stood by the door to listen to what was going on.
When she started walking back into the basement Billie grabbed Lynn's' arm turning her around to face him.
"So... want to start where we left off?" I heard him say in sort of a whisper. Gross, I wish I could tell her the truth, I thought.
"Not in a million years," Lynn said pushing him away and locking the basement door behind me.
"That's Lynn," I said smirking to myself and going back to getting me some cereal.
Back to Lynn's P.O.V
God how I hate Billie, he's always trying to pull something. I want to strangle him! Bastard... he should go back to Adrienne. I hate him. I wish I never went to the concert. I wish he would leave me alone. I wish we could just be friends...
