When Tears Filled Her Eyes, chapter 4
Kelly woke up at 10:00am and Billie Joe was coming at 10:30am. She put on her black mini skirt and her pink and black striped shirt. She did her make up and stunk on her black and white converses. Kelly went down stairs ad figured instead of her makeing breakfast, Billie Joe can make it, or he can buy me some. She waited down stairs for a half an hour and still no Billie Joe. An hour went by, and finally he showed up.
"What took you so long?" Kelly questioned.
Billie Joe was out of breath and said,"Well my mom wanted me to help her outside, so thats why I was late and also I lost track of time."
Kelly motioned for Billie to come in. They took a seat on the couch.
Kelly turned and looked at Billie saying,"Well the first thing I want you to do I either make me some breakfast or buy me some."
Billie Joe checked his pockets and said,"Well I only brought a 20 dollars with me so thats not going to buy us breakfast so I'll just make you something."
Billie Joe checks the kitchen to see what he could make. And within 15 minutes he made pancakes.
Kelly began to eat, and said,"Holy shit Billie, these are good, how did you learn how to make them?"
Billie Joe put down his fork and said,"Well from watching my mom cook, you should try her cooking, it's really good."
They both finished there breakfast.
"I want you to do my dishes now." Kelly ordered.
Billie Joe started to mumble and did them. One thing he knew he hated to do was to do dishes, and he hated the fact that Kelly was telling him what to do and also that he had to be nice to her for one whole day. The dishes were finished.
He walked into the living room where Kelly was watching T.V. He took a seat and waited for Kellys next demand.
Kelly replied,"How about we go to the park?"
They walked out of the house and Kelly locked the door and so they began to walk to the park.
The park was quiet and peaceful, no one seemed to be a bother. It was just that everything was calm, and the park also had a great few of the lake. It was even a great place to think, when your feeling sad, or even angry. Also it was even a great place to picnic at, or to have a family get together, and a nice place for kids to have fun at. The park even had its own playground, for kids to have fun and to leave behind their worries. And if you even want to take a boat ride on the lake or even go fishing, you could do that and nto even worry about people bothering you.
Billie Joe and Kelly took a seat on a bench. They so some kids swinging and it brought back memories for Kelly.
"You know, this park brings back memories for me." Kelly replied.
Billie Joreloking confused said,"What do you mean?"
Kelly began to explain,"Well when I was a kid I use to alway come here. Me and my friends would always go swimming in the lake, and this one time we caught a frog by the lake. Then our families would get together and have barbeques here, and I always had my birthday party here because well one, this place was were most of the kids hanged out at, and secound because I thought there was always something special about this place. I always had a smile on my face when I would swing. It felt like when you were going up in the air you could reach out and touch the sky, it felt that close, or even when I use to jump off. Me and my friends use to have contests to see who could jump the farthest off the swings. Man life was great here. But then as I got older my parents got more wraped up in their jobs, and I didn't see then much anymore, so these visits to the park were then always by myself, or I would not even come here at all. So sitting here seeing these kids have fun and stuff brought back alot of memories."
Kelly began to tear up.
Billie Joe actually gave her a a tissue and said,"Yea I know what you mean, me and my dad use to come here alot and we would play football and stuff. But that all changed when he died."
Kelly got worried and said,"Oh I'm so sorry Billie, I guess this wasn't the best place to go to"
Billie Joe looked at the ground and smiled saying,"Thats alright, sometimes it's great to relive your childhood."
The wind was blowing and Billie Joe was looking at her, watching her hair blow in the wind, looking at her soft conplexion. Now he was starting to feel sorry for her.
Billie Joe stood up and said,"How about we go and swing, I mean that is what you want to do?"
Kelly got up and smiled and they ran over to the swings. Kellt again had a smile on her face, and she reached her hand out, just like she was about to touch the sky.
And so far, the day wasn't over yet...
