Until Death Do Us Part, chapter 3
21 years had passed since Alex had been let out of hospital. She managed to full-fill her plans and had moved over to England where she wanted to start all over again. After a few months of living in England, Alex settled down with her partner, Steve, whom she later married. Steve and Alex had a beautiful baby boy named Danny.
They were a happy family, the sort of family who look out for each other and enjoy each others company. Alex got herself a job in a band, with her two friends Calli and Maria, and today, that is Friday 6th June 2026, the band were heading to London to do an opening show for a concert.
An overwhelming roaring sound filled the air above London, sending Alex and her band mates into a shock of more nerves. "This is it guys!" Calli screeched to her two friends, where they stood backstage waiting for their cue to go on stage. They all held onto each others hand for a moment, checking that they all looked ok. Alex was wearing black cropped trousers, a red corset type top and had left her hair hanging loose around her shoulders. Alex thought her two band mates looked wonderful, as they were both wearing the same outfit but different coloured tops.
With one last nervous, but hopefully reassuring smile at each other, they walked onto the vast stage ahead of them. Immediately they were blown away with the screams and cheers they got from the crowd. All that could be seen was a sea of people looking at the band. However all the thousands of eyes didn't put Alex off; she strode up to the microphone, her guitar hanging around her neck. Without any he'sitation at all she shouted with all her mite into the microphone "alright England!", placed her fingers on the first chords to be played on her guitar, looked back at Calli who had positioned herself by the drums and nodded at her to start.
This was it, the moment Alex and her mates had been dreaming of for years. There they were, playing in front of thousands of people, Alex singing her heart out, Calli beating away at the drums and Maria strumming the bass with what she hoped was an expression of rock'n'roll on her face.
Just as Alex came up to the second chorus, she noticed out of the corner of her eye a tall figure standing to the right of the stage. She tried to not let it put her off as the band had been going great so far, and the crowd certainly thought so as they were jumping around like little kids on a trampoline. Her mind was telling her to look straight and to ignore this very disturbing figure, which Alex could tell was still gazing at her. Alex turned her head towards the right of the stage, and saw a lean figure with black hair and the most dreamy emerald green eyes she had seen.
She brought her gaze up to meet the eyes of someone familiar. Their eyes locked with one another, Alex felt butterfly's in her stomach as she stared into his eyes. Everything around her seemed to disappear, her band mates and even the crowd. Shivers were sent up Alex's spine like lightening bolts. However the butterfly's she was feeling only a couple of seconds ago seemed to have magically transformed into a whirling wind of horror. Those immense eyes she had been gazing into, didn't belong to just anyone, they belonged to Billie. Her best friend Billie.
