Going back to where I belong, chapter 10
*Recap*
Megan stood there stunned, not able to believe her ears.
"You mean... that night we played in Gilman... and you went to dance with that chick, it worked out between you two?" Megan screeched angrily...
"Well, yea-" Billie was cut off when Megan slammed the door shut, in his face.
Tre... get the FUCK over here, I'm going to KILL YOU!" Megan screamed and charged up stairs.

Megan ran up into Tre's room and slammed the door open in such a rush her anger even scared her.
"I-I can't BELIEVE YOU!" Megan screamed and flung herself at Tre and started hitting him helplessly, knowing that it wasn't doing Tre any harm. Tre wrapped his hysterical sister in a hug, trying to calm her down, Megan struggled and started screaming and crying and throwing fits, but Tre just kept her wrapped up in his arms.
Everything was buzzing through Megan's mind, nothing seemed right anymore, even though Tre promised it would be. But promises were always meant to be broken... weren't they?
*Flash-Back*
Tre had just turned 16 when tragedy struck in their family, both of his parents were caught in a car accident, some drunken drivers had hit them, Tre and Megan were home alone, throwing a party, both oblivious to what had happened to both of their parents.
Megan was in her room, banned from being able to come out. Tre didn't want his baby sister to see him drinking with his friends and doing god-knows-what. Megan sat at her desk, with her head down and she started to hit her forehead on the desk several times. There was a loud knock from behind her, she gasped and turned around to see who it was.
She carefully got up and lifted the curtains to reveal her best friend, Billie grinning with a smug smile.
Megan rolled her eyes and unlocked the windows, letting Billie slip inside.
"You couldn't of came inside and knocked on the door or something?" Megan asked curiously with a hint of annoyance in her voice. Billie rolled his eyes and plopped down on her bed.
"You know that's not my style...coming in and knocking on the door like a normal human being is WAY out of my league," Billie replied.
"Okay smart-ass...get out of my room...before Tre sees you in here and he totally will kick my arse.
Just then, they heard the music stop from downstairs and Tre's voice boomed.
"Everyone... get out, party is over, thanks for coming and we'll see you tomorrow at school..." Tre screamed angrily. There were murmurs of voices coming from downstairs and five minutes later there was complete and utter silence.
Tre burst into Megan's room and had a complete look of terror on his face, he opened and closed his mouth, trying to articulate words.., but nothing came out. A couple of minutes later, he finally spoke the words that would change their lives in so many ways.
"Our parents are dead... "

"I'm sorry to inform you that both of your parents are dead, now if there is anything we could do for you two, please don't hesitate to ring us." The doctor slipped Tre a small piece of paper that had a phone number on it; Tre tucked it into the pocket of his jeans and hugged his crying sister tighter.
"That you doctor, you've been so much help, but right know we would like to have some time alone." Tre replied and looked down at his sister. The doctor nodded and walked away down the white neon hallway.
"What are we going to do Tre? We're going to be put into Foster Homes and we'll never see each other again... " Megan sobbed unhappily.
Tre lifted Megan's chin up so that she could see him properly.
"Now you listen to me...I'm going to make a promise to you that NOTHING...and I mean nothing happens between you and me, I'm always going to be there for you, weather you like it or not"
