Going back to where I belong, chapter 11
*Recap*
Tre lifted Megan's chin up so that she could see him properly
"Now you listen to me. . . I'm going to make a promise to you that NOTHING . . . and I mean nothing is going to happen between you and me, I'm always going to be there for you, weather you like it or not."
*End of Recap*
Megan closed her eyes and let the tear drops run down her cheeks, not bothering to wipe them away, Tre had always told her to wear her tear-drops proudly, not as a sign of shame or sadness, but as a sign of something that would just begin. But at this moment of her life she didn't know what was going to open up for her and let her start again, because right now she would need a miracle for an opportunity to come knocking down her door.
Megan ripped away from Tre's grasp and she shook her head violently.
"No, your not doing this to me now . . . no, no, no, NO!" She screamed angrily and ran to her room and locked the door shut, she grabbed her suitcase and started packing everything she need; clothes, underwear, her beloved I pod, tracing paper, diary, tooth brush and toothpaste and pajamas. She closed her suitcase and zipped it up.
She was about to leave, when she heard heavy pounding on the door, it was Tre.
*Flash-Back*
Come on Megan, you can't hide from your problems forever!" Tre screamed and began pounding even more hard on his sister's door.
"NO! You can't make me come out! It's your fault they died! You were hosting that STUPID PARTY, even though I SPECIFICLY told you not to!" Megan screamed angrily and shoved herself in her small and cramped closer. She gazed around in the closet and pulled out her most need item, her much cherished
Fender Strat.
Tears running constantly, though she managed to put her fingers in the right spot and she started to strum her made-up song.
I'll close my eyes to the things I don't want to see,
But I can't close my heart to the things I don't want to feel.
I'll pretend to believe that everything is okay,
And that right now I won't feel the pain this day.
Because songs don't have to rhyme,
To have meaning and belief.
Because songs are built on stress that no one can relieve.
The Song wasn't finished yet, but she was close, the only thing she needed was a chorus and a couple more lines and she was done. Just then Tre broke into Megan's room and he began searching for her. Megan held her breath, hoping and praying that her brother wouldn't hear her.
Just then her closet door flew open, to reveal a very angry looking brother, and then she was yanked out of her closet.
*End of Flash-Back*
Megan opened her eyes and glanced around at her surroundings, Tre was still heavily knocking at the door, but she refused to let him know that she was in there. Her breaths started becoming more heavier as she grew more nervous, wondering where she would be able to go and hide from her psycho brother.
Then the question blew up right in her brain.
"Should I stay at Mike's house?"
