Going back to where I belong, chapter 13
*Recap*
"You-you and I KISSED! WE MADE-OUT! I KISSED MY BROTHER!" Megan screamed and ran into the washroom, she started to brush her teeth until her gums started to bleed.
*End of Recap*
After Megan's hour-long teeth brushing session she finally emerged from the washroom, looking tired and beaten down. Billie came up to her, to give her a hug when she suddenly slapped him hard across the face.
He looked extremely stunned and hurt at the same time.
"That's for not telling me that we're RELATED for SIXTEEN years!" Megan screamed angrily and burst out into tears and fell onto the floor in a pathetic looking heap of nothing. Billie looked down at his sisters crying figure and crouched down beside her.
"I know you're extremely upset right now, but it was all my family could do, we didn't want to give you away... But when my father died, we just didn't have enough money to support 7 people in the family, so we gave you to the one family we could trust. And I was to pose as you and your brother's friend... Until it was time to tell you the truth."
Billie sighed and looked into Megan's eyes.
"But then Tre got out of hand, when you turned thirteen, he refused to let me see you. On your thirteenth birthday I was to tell you the truth... But I guess Tre some how got lost into the fake brother and sister ordeal and he totally lost it," Billie replied and helped his sister up from the ground; Megan sighed unhappily and looked down to the ground, ashamed that she was once in love with her own brother.
"But you can move in with us now, and your welcome to stay now... As a part of our family which you always were." Billie replied and hugged his sister tight. Megan looked up at him with her tear stained face and let a weak smile escape her lips.
Billie gave her his hand and he pulled her up and walked her over to the couch and sat her down.
Billie's girlfriend, Cassie wrapped her arms around her in a comforting hug that seemed to sooth her.
Billie smiled and sat beside his girlfriend, hoping that his sister and his girlfriend will be able to get along well in their house. Then the question popped up in his mind, he'd never though that it would have mattered but now he knew that it might affect Megan.
"Megan... Our house is in San Francisco, we'll have to move from Berkeley." Billie whispered softly to his sister. Megan's eyes immediately snapped open and she turned her head to look at her brother in shock.
"Now listen. Before you have a heart attack and before you start crying and screaming at me, you have a choice." Her brother began while looking in her eyes the whole time, Megan nodded her head, motioning for her brother to continue.
"You can either start packing your stuff to get ready and move with us, OR you can stay here with Tre and live here for the rest of your life."
"Which one will you pick?"
*Flash-Back*
"I HATE YOU! HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME!" Megan screamed at her brother and lunged herself at him. Her brother stayed perfectly calm and wrapped his arms around her screaming sister.
"YOU TOLD EVERYONE IN SCHOOL WE WERE TOGETHER!" Megan screamed again.
"It was only for pretend, either that or you would have to pretend that Billie was your brother so that we could've gotten into the dance."
"I don't want to live with you anymore, you're a disgrace to brothers... I WANT TO MOVE NOW!" Megan screamed angrily. Her brother just laughed and kissed her cheek.
"Where would you have moved to?" He asked calmly. Megan sighed unhappily and she shrugged her shoulders.
"Anywhere away from you..."
*End of Flash-Back*
Billie tapped his foot impatiently and he sighed and waved a hand infront of his sister. Megan snapped out of her flash-back and looked up at her brother.
"Which one will it be? Will you stay or go?" Megan sighed, she was sure her decision was the right one, and hopefully she would have the life she never had.
