My Love Life, chapter 3
1 year later- Ramona's POV
I haven't talked to Joey for a year. I still have feelings for him. I starting to think it's more than a crush 'cause he is never out my head and when I do see him my stomach flutters. I need talk to someone. I can't talk to Clare 'cause she won't talk about him. I'll talk to Mom. I walked downstairs and into the living room where my Mum was sitting
"Hey Mum." I said
"Hey." She said
"Can I ask you something?"
"Sure."
"Well I have this crush on this guy but I'm starting to think its more than just a crush."
"Why do you think it's more than just a crush?"
"He is in my head all the time and every time I see him my stomach flutters."
"Had that when me and your dad were together."
"What does it mean? Its more than a crush?"
"Mona, its more than a crush. By the sounds of it your in love with this guy."
"Okay, thanks" I said surprised. I rushed up to my room. I'm in love with Joey. I was shaking. I couldn't believe it. Next time I see him, which will be next week 'cause of a barbecue, I'm going to tell him.
Clare's POV
I still haven't got over Joey yet. It has been a year. There's a barbecue next week, which my family is going to so I should talk to him about it then.
At the barbecue. - Ramona's POV
When we arrived at the barbecue, I said my hellos and went to find Joey. I found in the living room on his room.
"Hey Joey." I said. His head whipped around to look at me. When he saw me he had a surprised look on his face.
"Ramona. What are you doing here?"
"I wanted to talk."
"About what?"
"Last year."
"Ah, okay."
"I overreacted. You couldn't really call a kiss cheating but I did and I'm sorry I did. I just hope you can forgive me which I doubt you will."
"Ramona, I forgave you ages ago I just couldn't tell you."
"Really? Wow, now that you have said that I have something else to tell you."
"What?"
"I love you."
"What?"
"I love you." A smile spread across his face.
"I have been waiting for you to say that for ages."
"You have?"
"Yep. I love you too. I think about you everyday"
"Same here." He leaned in and our lips brushed together. We started to make out until we heard the door open and a gasp. We broke apart and look at the door. There standing staring at us was Clare.
Clare's POV
I was told Joey was in the living room so I went there. I opened the door and saw a site that made me gasp. There was Joey and Mona making out.
"Hey Clare." Mona said
"You said you were over him" Was all I could say
"I thought I was but in fact I'm not. I'm in love with him." My mouth dropped open
"In... In... In love?"
"Yeah and I'm in love with her." Joey answered
"I came to see if we could work it but we obviously can't. Sorry for bothering you."
"Clare, you're really pretty but you don't have a personality like Ramona. Even if you got here before Ramona I still wouldn't have got back together with you. Sorry"
"Well it was worth a try."
"Can we all stay friends?"
"No, I don't think I could handle the fact that you and Mona are together sorry. Bye Joey. Bye Mona" I said as I walked out the living room.
Joey's POV
That was weird. I love Ramona. I want to be with here not Clare. Clare pretty and everything but she's not like Ramona. I don't know how there friends.
"Joey? Babe? Are you okay?"
"Yeah. I'm sorry?"
"For what?"
"I just lost you your friend."
"Babe, don't worry about it. She was annoying me a bit." I kissed her which turned it to another make out. The door opened again in this one
"Joey. Ramona" The voice of my dad said
"Yeah?" We both said pulling away from each other
"Why did you hurt Clare?"
"You want to know?" Ramona asked. My dad just nodded. Me and Ramona took it in turns to tell the story. Once we had finished. My dad got up and walked out the room to go and tell Clare's parents and mom.
"Well that went well." Ramona said
"Yeah but more importantly were we?" Ramona giggled "oh I remember" I said kissing her.
