Billie Joe, How Could You?!? (continued), chapter 1

Cassie ran out of the door as fast as possible. She ran into her backyard and took a running jump at the tree. She grabbed onto a lower branch and swung herself onto it. She clambered the rest of the way up and into her window and she laid down on her bed and pretended to sleep. She got into her room just time, because her mom was now roaming the halls. Her mom walked into her room and smiled. Cassie sat up and yawned.
"Did I wake you?" her mom asked.
"No, not really."
"That's good. You sleep well?" her mother asked as she sat on the bed.
"Uh-huh," Cassie said nodding.
"Sweetie, why is your hair wet?" her mom asked picking up a strand of Cassie's hair.
"I took a shower around five and fell asleep afterwards," Cassie said, hoping her mom would beleive her. Her mom just shrugged and walked out of the room. Cassie let a sigh of releif and got up. She went over to her closet and pulled out a black tank top, fishnet stockings, and a pair jeans with a hole on the right knee and the left upper thigh. She slipped on the fishnet stockings on and then the jeans over top. The holes exposed part of the fishnet stockings. She slipped on her tanktop and then went over to a mirror to fix her hair and do her make up. She put her eyeliner on and smeared it with her thumb a little bit. She put on red eyeshadow and then red lipstick. She rubbed her lips together and made a kissy face. She pulled her long, blonde hair into a messy bun.
"I'm so beautiful. Fuck!" she said, reqouting Tre from a few days before. She giggled, grabbed her backpack, slipped on her converse, and then ran downstairs. She then ran out the door and to the bus stop with Ronny close behind.
"Cassie, over here!" shouted a voice. Cassie turned to see a familiar boy with a green faux hawk. She smiled and ran over to Tre and the others. As soon as she got near them she flung herself into Billie's waiting arms. She kissed his moist, lips as he lifted her off the ground. Tre stood there watching him, rage flaring up in his body. He was so close to pulling Cassie away from Billie and punching him in the face. He felt someone place a hand on his shoulder. He turned his head to face Mike, who was shaking his head. Tre sighed and walked away into a crowd of goths. Billie and Cassie finally broke away.
"What's up with him?" Billie asked as he watched Tre disappear.
"It's nothing," Mike said shaking his head slightly. Cassie had a sinking feeling in the pit of her stomach. She knew it was her fault that Tre was upset. For a while now she had sensed that Tre had liked her and now she knew it was true. Now she was getting the feeling that she was falling for him.

One Week Later
"Cassie! Your surprise is here!" her mom shouted up the stairs after she had just greeted three teens at the door. Soon the sound of footsteps could be heard running down the stairs. Cassie stopped abruptly at the sight of her ex-boyfriend and two friends from her home town.
"Dan...Daniel!" she shouted as she jumped into his waiting arms.
"I missed you," he whispered. Cassie smiled and the spotted her friends Jeff and Aralynn's smiling faces.
"Jeff, Aralynn, I missed you guys too," she said as she gave each of them a hug.
"Cassie you've got to show us around," Aralynn said. With a nod of the head and a motion of the hand, Cassie was out the door. She was followed by her friends into Billie's yard. She told them to stop in the yard and went up to the garage. After a few knocks the garage door opened revealing Tre, Mike, and Billie behind their instruments. Cassie motioned for her friends to come over. They did as they were told and walked next to her. Daniel enveloped her into a quick hug. Billie saw this and clenched his fists.
"Boys this is Daniel, Jeff, and Aralynn. My home town friends," Cassie said pointing them out.
"Childhood friends, this is Mike, Tre, and Billie," she said pointing out Mike and Tre and giving Billie a kiss on the lips. Once they broke apart Billie gave Daniel a warning glance that said, Back off she's mine. Daniel threw his hands up in defense and nodded his head.
"Billie, would you and the guys like to help show these three around?" Cassie asked.
"Sure," Tre, Mike, and Billie said in unison.
"Hey Aralynn," Tre said as he walked up next to her and wrapped his arms around her shoulder. She blushed and then smiled. All the guys rolled their eyes and Cassie just giggled.
"Well come on. Let's show them The Gilman." Cassie said after a few minutes of silence.
"What's The Gilman?" Jeff asked.
"It's a club for local punks to relax, have a beer, a few smokes, and listen to great music," Billie said as he started to walk off towards Gilman.

They arrived at The Gilman. Green Day was supposed to play that day so it was especially good that they were there. A few minutes after they arroved some one announced that Green Day were on.
"I'll see you in a bit," Billie said before he planted a kiss on Cassie's cheek. Her, Jeff, Aralynn, and Daniel nodded. They wished Green Day good luck and then joined the crowd. Some how Cassie and Daniel some how got seperated from Aralynn and Jeff. They walked towards the bar to order a few drinks.
"Cassie I've been wanting to ask you something." Daniel said.
"What?"
"Please leave that punk and come back to me. Cassie, baby, I love you. I need you."
"Daniel I can't. I love Billie and I won't cheat on him. And he won't cheat on me," Cassie said. At least I hope he won't cheat on me, she thought.
Sadly enough, Cassie's wish never came true. When Billie was twenty and she was just turning nineteen, only then did he decide to cheat on her.
