Time lies., chapter 1
Time Lies.
Thing happened that weren't supposed to. Time moved for this certain moment. Everything went silent and the sun went out. The stars didn't even shine or lime light for this amount of time. There he was. The guy I kept seeing in my dreams. Sure he was beautiful but he had great qualities. Like his name. Benji. Simple but sweet. He sat with his twin brother and when time and the universe stopped he was still talking. Acting like nothing was going on. But as I looked at him he looked at me. Our eyes connected for a good ten seconds. When we finally realized what was going on we quickly looked away and let the world go back to business.
"Oh my god, Kristie! Good Charlotte!!! Did you see?" Lila pointed.
"Yes I saw. Don't point," I answered.
"Look, their getting up! Come on," Lila pulled my t-shirt, which gave me no other choice than to follow.
"Hey Benji and Joel, can we get your autographs?" Lila asked. Benji and Joel looked at each other and smiled and said yes.
"Hey, What's your name?" Benji asked when I gave him my pen. He looked up and our eyes locked. I fell into his eyes and saw more then peircings, and tats. He had a heart. And even though he looked like he was horrible or like you can't trust him, he had all those qualities. I shook my head slightly and looked to Lila.
"Um... can I please know the name of the beautiful creature standing in front of me?" Benji asked.
"Sure. Kristie, I already know yours so don't need to introduce yourself," I smiled and his soft brown eyes and smile warmed my heart.
"Thanks," I said after he finished signing my little piece of paper.
"Hey, we're playing in town tonight. Wanna come?" Benji yelled out.
"Don't have tickets,"
"We'll get ya in for free. And backstage passes, just say you'll come!"
"Ok! See ya there," I laughed and turned around back to Lila.
"Hilary is so lucky!" she sniggered. I didn't listen to her. My mind was far away. With thought of Good Charlotte concert. Why did he ask me to go to his concert? Benji was famous and had money and a life. I'm a girl who sits on the corner of the street next to the corner shop with black jeans and converses wrapped around my feet and a piercing out of my nose and all over my ears. What would he possibly want with me?
I sat out at the back stage door. Millions of screaming fan from inside the dome. Freezing cold air beat my face as I walked in circles.
"Seriously, we are supposed to be here. Benji and Joel invited us!" Lila yelled at the security guard.
"I wasn't informed," the security guard snapped. Suddenly the back stage door flung open.
"Hey, get in here," Benji yelled from the doorway. My heart lifted. He smiled and showed us in.
"Thanks for coming girls," he said when we got inside. The yelling and screaming was much lower in there and we could hear ourselves talk.
"You look good, Kristie," Benji smiled at me. I looked him up and down.
"Not to bad ya self! Just one thing... " I pulled his bandana off his face.
"Much better," he laughed and I giggled along with him. Lila stared at us.
"So we gunna watch this concert or... what?" she said abruptly. Benji was startled.
"Yeah, just come this way," Lila followed close behind Benji and me as we talked all the way to the dressing rooms.
"So you can go with the guards and they'll take you to where you're supposed to go," Benji shuffled his feet. I waved goodbye and walked off with the guards and Lila.
"Guys! You were bloody amazing!!" I screamed when I met up with Benji, Billy, Joel, Paul, and Chris after the concert. They all had huge smiles on their faces and said thanks.
"HEY BOYS, and girls, lets go get something to eat!" Billy yelled out.
"Hell yes! I haven't eaten all day!" I screamed back.
"Hey, we are just here," Benji chimed.
"Sorry, I really am! I just can't believe I'm here," I said.
"Ok, get your jacket," Benji laughed.
Joel jumped over the seat. I screamed as he landed on me fell into the next seat.
"Sorry. Hey lets go to that crazy coffee shop that has bad music and smell like, well, coffee," Paul said pulling at his seat belt.
"No way dude, we are goin some where that doesn't smell like old people feet and has bad music that sounds like the cat bagpipes!" Benji screwed up his nose. I giggled and Lila just sat in quiet.
"So lady's, what would you like to eat?" Benji asked.
"Cheese pizza sounds good," I answered. We drove to a pizza parlor and grabbed pizzas.
"So... what kind of stuff you like?" Benji asked as I stuffed down a piece of pizza.
"Well, I like music, my dog and his name is cambo, cheese pizza and other stuff. You? Wait don't answer that. You like your dog whose name is cashdog, you like pizza and cars," he smiled.
"Not just any car. Impala's,"
"Funky! So what are you doing next weekend?"
"Still on tour,"
"Oh, ok. It must be hard,"
"Nah, Free stuff and meeting new people is just fantastic. But sometimes it can get real bad because I'm stuck on a bus or in a hotel with my bro'. That gets annoying,"
"Yeah well me and my little bro' are always together. Except now. But we always do stuff together. And we were Siamese twins... "
"What? You're a Siamese twin?"
"Yeah," I answered. Benji's eyes were wide and he looked strange.
"He likes you guy's. He had no choice of not liking you cause we were stuck together," I said.
"When were you separated?"
"Last year. We couldn't afford it till last year," I fell silent. I almost lost my brother through that operation. It was still very hard for me.
"Hey, are you ok?" Benji asked. I looked up and smiled.
"Yeah it's just a bit hard talking about the op. I nearly lost my bro' through it so it hurts," Benji nodded and grabbed my hand.
"It's cool. I don't know what its like but it's hard to lose someone who's close to you," I looked into his light brown eyes. So comforting and beautiful.
"Lets blow this joint," Joel said knocking Benji on the shoulder.
"Yeah, yeah," Benji quickly let go of my hand and jumped up.
"Wanna ride back to your house?" Paul asked
"We need it," Lila said. She had a smile in her voice.
