Time lies., chapter 6

I woke up in Benji's arms. He had such a grip and wouldn't let me go. He must felt me stirring because he woke up as well.

"What's the matter?" he asked.

"Dunno, I just woke up," I answered. It wasn't dark. The sun was slowly rising. Benji loosened his tight grip and I turned around to face him. His long fringe was messed up and covered his face. His eyeliner smudged down his face. He still looked just as beautiful as he did when he was awake. I suddenly felt a lurch in my stomach. I needed to be sick.

"Benji let go of my!" I managed to get out. He quickly let go. He sat up bolt straight and looked at my.

"What's wrong?" he asked. All I did was point to my bathroom door. He got out of bed and tied to help me to the door, but he wasn't quick enough.

"I'll put ya in here wait till I get Lila," he said placing me on the bathroom floor. I pulled myself over to the toilet bowl and leaned against it. I felt really sick. Benji and Lila came running into the room.

"Hey what's wrong?" Lila asked.

"I...Dunno. I just feel sick," I managed to say before planting my face in the bowl for another round of chuck what you had for dinner. Lila ran the shower and Benji sat beside me for comfort. When Lila had got the shower to a good temperature Benji stripped off to his boxers and helped me in.

"I feel fine Benji, trust me," I moaned.

"You can't even stand straight!" he snapped.

"Can I please do this by my self? Really I'm fine," I groaned back. Benji stepped aside. Then I fell into darkness.

I woke up in hospital. I felt something wrapped around my head and a dripped flowed out my arm. I sat up. Benji, Lila and Billy were all sitting in chairs next to me. I was dying of thirst and my head spun for a bit. The nurse came in.

"Well, finally your awake," she smiled happily.

"Yeah, I took a nasty fall by the looks of it," I smiled back.

"Would like anything to eat or drink?" she asked.

"A drink would be great. Just water," she smiled and walked off into the coffee room to get a drink. Benji stirred.

"Benji? You awake?" I asked quietly. His eyes flung open.

"Hey, how ya feeling?" he walked over to me and kissed my cheek.

"Much better now," I giggled.

"I told ya you needed my help," he said with a smile. He pulled the chair over towards the bed.

"I'll ask when you're coming home today ok? I don't wanna sit in here anymore, to much white," I smiled. The nurse came in.

"Visiting times haven't started yet," she said.

"I know but I couldn't leave her, she's my life," he gushed. I blushed and looked away.

"Here's your water. Want anything else?" she asked kindly.

"No, I'm fine now, thank you anyway," I answered. She left the room.

Benji carried me through my front door.

"Just because I feel over the other morning doesn't mean I'll do it now!" I laughed.

"I'm willing to do this cause I don't want to sit in another white room for quit awhile," I said placing me on the lounge. I laughed. Lila sat on one side of Benji and me on the other. Billy went to the bathroom.

"So?" I asked excitedly.

"So what?" both Benji and Lila asked in synchronize.

"Not you Benji! Lila, do you like Billy?" I asked again.

"He's not to bad," she said with a smile. Her smile faded.

"Dave called me," she said quietly.

"What! How dare he! After what he did to you? No, I don't believe it," I yelled.

"He asked me back."

"You said no! Tell me please you said no!" I pleaded. Lila looked at her feet.
"I... I said I'd think about it."

"Well, I'm ringing him to say you said no," I said through clenched teeth. I picked up my phone and dialed Dave's number.

"Hello? Dave? Ah yes, I hope you remember me. I am Lila's best friend," I said down the phone.

"How could I not forget you!" he yelled at me.

"I'm ringing to ask, where the fuck you get off at! Cause you played my best friend and stuffed with her head!" I yelled back at him.

"Well she deserved it," he said. I hung up. I couldn't take it. Hearing his voice was driving me insane.

"What the..." Benji started to ask but I cut him off.

"That dick bashed Lila till she couldn't breath. I spent half an hour resuscitating her. I was her lungs for half an hour!" I yelled. I sat on the lounge shaking. Benji grabbed me and pulled me in tight.

"That fag isn't gonna go anywhere near Lila," he said calmly. I pulled away and saw Lila had tears in her eyes. I hugged her. She burst in to complete sobs when Billy walked in the room.

"What the hells goin' on?" he asked.

"Don't worry dude. Lila will tell you when she's up to it," Benji said calmly. I let go of Lila and let Billy take over. I sat back. I felt like shit. Again.

"I think I might go to bed. Wake me up if ya need me," I said walking into my bedroom. I made it to my bed but I started to feel everything coming back up. I ran to the bathroom and stuck my head in the bowl.

"Kristie, I'm taking you to the docs tomorrow," Lila said putting me into bed. Benji was talking to Billy about something when Lila bent over and whispered in my ear.

"Do you think you could be pregnant?" I shook my head. I knew that was a possibility but I didn't want it to be true.

I sat outside the doctor's office and waited. Lila slinked herself on the wall. Benji and Billy had gone out for the day. The doctor walked out and Lila jumped up.

"The test shows that you're pregnant," he said. I was shocked. How was Benji going to take it? Was it even Benji's?

"Oh my God!" Lila yelled and hugged me.

"Lila, I don't want to keep it!" I said hysterically.

"Why?"

"It might be Johnny's!" I said. Tears filled my eyes. Lila's smile was wiped straight off her face.

"Shit," was the simple word she said. I started to sob.

"Look, let's...let's tell Benji. We'll tell him everything," she said quickly. I nodded.

"Hey Benji," I said walking through the front door.

"Hey babe, what was wrong with ya?" he asked.

"Well..." I started to get excited but I still had Johnny sitting on my mind.
"I'm pregnant," I said. His mouth flew open.

"What? Oh my god! That's great!" he said picking me up and hugging me. He laughed.

"You don't seem very happy about it," he said when he finally put me down.

"Benji, when you went home I... I slept with Johnny. And the baby might not be yours," I sighed. Benji just looked at me.

"I'm so sorry! He made me! He forced me!" I screamed.

"I'm not angry at you, I'm angry at that two faced lying skeez!" he yelled.

"Oh, I'd never do anything like that to her, she's like my sister! Please, what bullshit was that?" he yelled again. I put my face down and walked outside. Benji followed.

"That's my kid, no matter what!" he said pulling me in. he hugged me so tight that it was hard to breath. I started to cry and he had tears coming out of his eyes. I hated him being in pain. I looked up at him.

"I... I don't want to put you through this pain. I want an abortion," I stated.

"No. You are not giving up that baby!" he said calmly.

"But I don't want you to go through any pain," I said.

"I wouldn't be," convinced me to keep the baby and get a paternity test.

I sat in the doctor's waiting room with Benji for my first ultrasound. Benji wanted to find out if it was a girl or boy but I wanted wait. I was gonna find out anyway.

"Miss Harris and Mr. Madden you can go in now," the nurse ushered us in. I sat in a chair next to the ultrasound table. The doctor came in. he set me up on the table and started.

"Hey babe, that looks like its head," Benji gushed.

"To right you are Mr. Madden," the doctor said. Benji smiled.

"Hey doc, what's it gonna be?" he asked.

"By the looks of it a girl," he smiled. Benji light up.

"A girl babe, how mad is that?" Benji asked.

"Pretty cool," I giggled. Benji looked at the doctor and his smile faded.

"What's wrong doc?"

"It looks like there's twins in there."

"What?" I asked.

"Twins! Yes, it just proves there my kids," Benji gushed.

"Uh, remember I was a twin," I said.

"Oh well, there my kids," he gushed.

"The second one looks like a boy," the doctor said. I smiled. So did Benji.

"Billy, I have two baby's on the way," he gushed when he walked through the door. Lila looked at me open mouthed.

"Boy and girl," I said.

"We can see who has stronger genes out of you two," she smiled.

"Congrats buddy," Billy said hugging Benji and me.

"Well all we need to do is figure out names," I said.

"You have nine months to do so," Billy said.

"It might take nine months to decide on one we like," Benji said sarcastically.

"Well I don't know," I said.

"Dunno what?" Lila asked. I shrugged my shoulders.

"I'm gonna ring mum," I said picking up the phone.

"Hey mum."

"Kristie's pregnant!" Lila yelled in the background. I sighed.

"What did Lila say?" mum asked.

"I'm pregnant," I sighed happily.

"Honey! I'm coming up! And I'm bringing your sister and your Brother," mum screamed excitedly.

"Oh...oh ok. Well I'll have to make beds and stuff and make arrangements," I stumbled out.

"No, no. That's why I want to be there!" Mum fussed.

"Ok, I have to go, love ya," I hung up the phone.

"Mums moving in," I sighed and sat down.

I sat holding Benji's hand across the table.

"How about, James Levi Madden?" Benji asked excitedly.

"I like that one babe," I answered. He smiled.

"And..."

"No, I pick the girl name!" I pretended to be angry.

"Ok, go on," he handed the baby book over to me.

"Crystal Leigh Madden," I said happily.

"You know what babe? That is the perfect name!" he said excitedly. The doorbell rang and Benji shot up and answered it.

"Hey bro'!" he yelled excitedly. I walked out to see Joel and Paul standing at the door.

"Hello," I said dumbfounded.

"Hey! Figured out names yet for my niece and nephew yet?" Joel asked.

"Yeah, James Levi Madden and Crystal Leigh Madden," I answered hugging Joel and Paul.

"Their mad names, would have been better if it was Rueben Levi."

"Why's that?"

"Cause that's my middle name," Joel answered. I laughed.

"Where is everyone going to sleep? My mum just moved in a week ago and that was the only other spare room in the house," I sighed.

"We rented out a hotel," Paul answered my Question. I smiled. One thing was bothering me though. I was a few nights a way from my vampire cycle beginning again. How was it going to affect my babies?

"Kristie! Where's the bathroom?" Joel asked.

"Up stairs! The only door that's opened!" I yelled back. I went to my bedroom and lied across my bed. This was good but it was wearing me out. Benji came in and lay next to me.

"How ya going?" he asked stroking my head.

"I feel really tired," I sighed. He rolled over and hugged me.

"Will this make you feel less tired?"

"No. I just wanna fall asleep in your arms," I giggled.

"I love you Kristie. Always have done," he whispered in to my neck.

"I love you to," I said. Lila opened my door as I said it.

"What the hell are you two doing in here?" she asked sarcastically.

"Nothin, just talking," I moaned. I started to drift.

"Kristie? You awake?" Benji asked.

"Yeah, Why?"

"Come out to the lounge room," he sat up and grabbed my hand. We walked out into the lounge room. Everyone sat in the lounge room just staring at us. By the looks of it no one knew what was going on. Except Lila and Benji. Benji took me to the middle of everyone and stood there with his hands in his pocket.

"Lila, I know I've only known you three months but they have been the best three months of my life. First you give me your love and now my children. I just want to say I love and..." he got down on one knee.

"Will you marry me?" he asked. His eyes filled with tears, as did everyone else's. I stopped breathing.

"I...I will!" I yelled. I started to cry. I was so happy. Mum screamed and Lila sobbed along with her. Benji hugged me. He put the ring on my finger and hugged me again.
