The New Daughter of the Family. (Sequel to An Angel's Voice.), chapter 29

-Billie's POV-
As I ran downstairs to find Sara, Joey and Jakob came through the door. I stopped for a minute.
"Hi, boys." I said. "How was school?"
"Fine." Jakob said, walking into the kitchen. Joey didn't say anything and started walking upstairs.
"Joey?" He ignored me and slammed his bedroom door. I forgot about tickling my daughter and walked upstairs. I knocked on Joey's door and walked in.
-End of POV-

Jakob was in the kitchen, going through the fridge for food.
"Hey, Jakey," Sara said, ruffling his hair. "Where'd dad go?"
"Hi. He went upstairs," he said.
"Ok."

-Sara's POV-
Hm, now where did he go? I hear voices in Joey's room, so he must be in there.
"Will you just tell me what's wrong already?" I heard my dad ask. I was about to go in, but I decided to listen. I know, it's a bad thing to do.
"Why would you care?!" Joey screamed. "All you care about is Sara! You don't care about me anymore!" My heart sank. Ouch.
"What are you talking about? Of course I care about you, Joey."
"No! No, you don't! All you do is spend time with Sara, you take her everywhere, and you always get her everything she asks for! You don't care about me anymore!"
"Joey, I-"
"NO! Ever since she came into this family, you've only loved her! Not me, or Jakob, or mom! JUST HER!" I saw him throw something at dad.
"JOEY! What the hell are you doing!?"
"GET OUT!" he screamed. "Just, get out! I wish she never became my sister! I HATE HER! And I hate YOU! Now get OUT!"
"Joey, don't say that. You know you don't mean that."
"I hate her, dad. I just hate her."
"Come on, Joey. You're not like this. Please, just-"
"Just get out." He said quietly. Dad started walking towards the door, and I darted to my room and quietly shut the door, tears streaming down my face. I heard dad walk into his bedroom and cry, mom comforting him quietly. I picked up my phone and dialed Mike's cell.
"Hello?" A depressed Mike asked.
"Hi, Mikey," I said, trying not to sound like I was crying. "Um, where are you?"
"Uh, at a hotel. After Billie found out you dropped out of school, we got in a fight and I left." I tried so hard not to burst out crying.
"Mike, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to-"
"Don't apologize, sweetheart. It's not entirely your fault. I'm coming home soon, I'll talk to you then."
"Ok," I whispered.
"Bye, hun."
"Bye." I hung it back up. I silently cried in my bed. I've ruined the family. Ruined it. I looked at my bed- side table, where there was a picture of me and my dad. I picked it up, took it out of the frame, and put it in an empty backpack. I put some clothes, some money, and other things in it. I took out a piece of paper and started writing:

To my family,
I'm sorry I've caused so much trouble. I didn't mean to tear you apart. Especially Joey. I had no idea you felt that way. And you don't have to anymore, because I'm leaving. Don't come looking for me, because I'll already be long gone. Please use the money under my pillow to buy dad a nice birthday present. I'll miss you all, and always remember you. I hope you all become a happy family again, and have a nice life.
Sara

I set it on top of my pillow and climbed up on my bed. I opened my window, and carefully took out the screen. I climbed through the window and walked across the roof. I climbed down the drain pipe and stepped on the garbage can. I hopped off the garbage can and walked down the driveway.

-Later, No one's POV-
Billie trudged downstairs and found Jakob playing playstation. Joey sat beside him, and turned to glare at his father. Billie winced.
"Where's your sister?" Billie asked.
"Don't know, don't care," Joey said shortly. Billie sighed and walked back upstairs and stopped in front of Sara's bedroom door. He knocked.
"Sara? Can I come in?" There was nothing. He shrugged and went in. Her window was wide open, with no screen on it. Billie scratched his head in puzzlement, and noticed the paper on her pillow. He picked it up and read it. Horror spread through his body.
"No," he whispered, his heart beating faster. "ADIE!" he screamed, running downstairs and into the kitchen, where his wife was making dinner. "ADIE!" he cried.
"What?" she asked urgently. "Billie, what's wrong?" Billie was crying uncontrollably.
"She's gone, Adie. She left." He handed her the note with a shaky hand. She read it, as tears formed in her eyes.
"What? But, why?" She staggered backwards. "Billie, we have to find her!" she screeched. "She could be anywhere! She could be dead!"
"Who?" Jakob asked, coming into the kitchen. He noticed his parents crying and looked scared. "Mommy, daddy, what's wrong?" he asked.
"Sara's gone, sweetie." Adie said, bending down to his level.
"What?" He asked, starting to cry. "Why?" Adie shrugged.
"I don't know." Billie froze.
"Joey," he said.
"What?" Adie asked, looking at Billie Joe.
"Joey! He yelled at me today because he thought I loved Sara more than him." He looked down at his feet. "She must have over heard." Jakob's face turned to anger, as he turned on his heels and marched into the living room where Joey was playing video games. He grabbed the controller and ripped it from the machine.
"HEY! What did you do that for!?" Joey screamed.
"What did you do?" Jakob asked.
"Huh?"
"You made Sara leave! What did you do!?" he screamed in Joey's face.
"Good. I'm glad she's gone," Joey said. Jakob screamed and jumped on Joey.
"DON'T SAY THAT! DON'T YOU EVER SAY THAT AGAIN!" Jakob said, punching his brother's face. Billie and Adie ran into the living room and tore Jakob from Joey.
"Jakob Danger Armstrong! What on earth are you doing!?" Adie asked him. Jakob stared at his brother in hate.
"Joey said he wanted Sara gone. He doesn't love her anymore," he said, not taking his eyes off of Joey. He tore from his mother's grip and put on a coat.
"Where are you going?" Billie asked desperately. Jakob looked at him.
"To find my sister."
