"Who's this Mike? An ex girlfriend?" asked Tré. Michael growled and Tré backed away.
"You don't scare me Selene." Said Mike
"Well we'll just have to work on that." I said. Michael transformed and grabbed Mike's throat.
"We need to talk." I said. He took us into his part of the trailer and I started to look around.
"UV rounds. How long have you been in the business of killing your own kind?" I asked as I picked up some bullets filled with a glowing blue liquid.
"I've done what I needed to survive. My decision was made easy the day you precious Victor betrayed me." He answered
"Betrayal was something he did very well. Victor's dead, I killed him."
"You? Kill Victor?" he asked then laughed "No, I think not. Oh unless you've learned the truth. Ah. So your eyes are finally open. Isn't it interesting how the truth is even harder to absorb than light? You know, I tried to stop him, of course. A travesty committing such a horrible crime. And then turning you. That was too much to take. My protests are why you put me here." I picked up a pendant looking device.
"Careful with that dear," he said "Makes a terrible bang. Open the blades and they're active."
"Good to know." I said taking three and putting them into my pocket "Viktor put you here for a reason, but I doubt it was because you had moral qualms. What do you know?"
"Very little of anything, I'm afraid." Mike said as he poured himself a glass of wine, I shot a crossbow and smashed the glass.
"Oh. Well then perhaps I'm mistaken and there's no use for you at all."
"Marcus was after this. Why?" asked Michael as he chucked Mike his pendant.
"So he could have both the pieces of the key."
"What you mean that you don't have it?" asked Michael.
"No. But I'll help you get it back."
