Through the wind and the rain
She stands hard as a stone
In a world that she can't rise above
But her dreams give her wings
And she flies to a place where she's loved
Concrete angel

It has been three days since Lilliana went home that night. The Armstrong's were getting very worried. Adie had called the house multiple times during the week to ask where she was and why she wasn't coming to school. Every time she called, she got no answer.

"Billie, I am getting really worried," a very scared Adie told her loving husband.
"I know hunny, I know," Billie comforted. He didn't know what to tell her. He didn't want to tell her everything would be alright. He just couldn't do that. He knew that if he did, he would be giving false hope.
They were sitting in their kitchen of their lovely home deciding what they should do.
"I don't know what to do. Do you think we should call the cops and have them help us?" asked Billie.
"Yeah, I think we should. I don't want Lilly to be in any harm. You know what her father can be like."
Once Adie had said that she regretted it. Billie had been thinking about his own dad lately. It saddened him to think about his past and what Lilliana's father could be doing to her right this moment.
Billie put his head in his hands at the very thought of what happened and what might happen. He took a deep breath and held it as he thought back to all of the good and happy times he had had with his dad.
Adrienne walked away from the counter and slowly towards her husband. She pulled him into a tight embrace. Billie hugged back tightly as if Lilliana's life depended on it. Both loved Lilliana like their own.
A few tears leaked out of the corners of Adie's eyes as she pondered on the thought of what might or could happen. Her tears landed on Billie's shoulder, getting soaked up by the fabric in his shirt.
The same was happening for Billie. Except he had more than Lilly on his mind. He also had his beloved dad. He missed him terribly. He wished he had more years to spend with his dad than he did. He would have been happy with one more day. One more hour. One more minute. Even one more second.
A small tear ran down his cheek as he closed his eyes and hugged the love of his life, Adrienne. He squeezed his eye's shut in hope that no more tears would come.

"Come on," Adie said quietly, as she gently pulled away from their long embrace. "Let's get out there and go get her."
Billie smiled a watery smile and wiped his tears away. He walked over to the phone to call the cops.
"911, Emergency Services, how may I help you?" a woman's voice poured out of the receiver that was pressed up against Billie's ear.
"Yes, ummm, I would like to report someone missing. They've been gone for about three days now," Billie said with a shaky voice.
"Okay, sir, calm down," the lady said as she detected Billie's urgency. "I will get you in contact with the police right away."
There was a click. Billie started to panic as he thought she hung up on him. Seconds later he realized he was wrong. An annoying song started to play as he was put on hold. Billie put the phone on the counter as he got annoyed with the horrible elevator music.
Adie walked over to the phone and picked it up seconds after Billie set it down. She put it to her ear to see why Billie just set it down. Once she heard the music, she chuckled and walked back over to the part of the phone where you hang it up and pressed a button.
The annoying elevator music came out of the main part now as Adie hung up the receiver.
Billie looked at Adie with a glare clearly on his face. Adie just laughed as Billie pushed him self form the counter and walked over to the door way leading into the hall.
"Where do you think you are going, Mister?" Adie said in a motherly sort of tone. She crossed her arms over her chest as Billie churned around to face her.
"To wake the boys, Mom," Billie said like a little boy. "When we go in search of her we need them up. We aren't going to just leave them here alone now, are we?"
"No."

So, Billie went to get the boys up and ready to take to his mom's house for the night. He already had it arranged that if Lilliana was missing for more than three days, then he would take the boys to her house until they found her. Of course, they would visit them to insure that everything was fine and that mommy and daddy have some grown up things to take care of and not to be worried.

Adie watched the back of her husband until he disappeared behind a wall. She sighed thinking about all of the things they have been through so far and what challenges that lay ahead of them. She smiled at how great her life was. She loved Billie deeply, and nothing in the world would change that.
Adie was brutally ripped from her thoughts as a voice rang out through the kitchen. Looking around dumbly, she noticed it was the phone and rushed over to it. Picking it off the receiver, Adie answered the lady on the other end.
After ten minutes of talking, Adie hung up as she had given all the information she could. She walked out of the kitchen and into the living room. Coming down the stairs was Billie holding a sleeping baby Jake and Joey trailing behind. Joey was rubbing his eyes and yawing.
Adie laughed and Joey looked up at her.
"Why did Daddy wake me up?" Joey asked in a small voice as he walked over to his mom.
"Because you and Jakey are going to go to Grandma's for a few days."
"Oh," he said in a yawn.

Adie chuckled and bent down to pick up her son. Billie and Adie walked into the front hall and got Jake and Joey into their jackets and hats. Billie carried the limp Jake out to the car as Adie grabbed the car keys, the bag for the stay at Ollie's, and turned off the lights to the house as she held Joey. She shut the door and locked it up as she heard Billie buckling up Jake in his car seat.
Adie walked down the front steps and over the car. She helped Billie buckle the now sleeping Joey into his car seat. She put the bag on the floor and climbed into the passenger seat. Billie walked to the other side of the car and climbed in the driver side. He took the keys out of his wife's hand and started that engine

He put his arm around Adie seat, out of habit, looked behind his to make sure no cars were coming and he was going strait, and let go of the breaks slightly and rolled out of the driveway. He drove down the road before coming to a halt at the end of the block. Looking both ways, he let go of the breaks and went on his way.
*An hour later*
Turning onto Elm Street in Rodeo, The Armstrong's made their way to Ollie's house. Coming to a halt outside of 713 Elm Street, Billie shut the car off and sighed. He looked at Adie and gave her a look she had seen many times before.
