Our Hearts Are Kept in Wicker Baskets and Porcelain Jars, chapter 4
*RECAP*
"Uh huh... she's four months in."
"But, isn't she going to replace Joey?"
"Of course not... it'll be fine."
Billie made his way down the stairs into the kitchen.
"Hey Baby." He said to his now-calmed-down wife, "You feelin' better?"
Adrienne nodded at smiled at Billie, "Rough day, no doubt. How'd it go with Jake?"
"Eh... he was alright I think. He was a bit... rawr... wait, no... I dunno. I think he was fine."
"Ok, that's good."
"Yeah... it'll be okay... Oh shit... I better call my mom."
Billie walked out of the kitchen and into the dining room towards the phone. Adrienne moved over to the sofa and sat down. "What a day... " She muttered to herself. She sat there watching 'Friends' reruns for about an hour, until Billie entered the room.
"How's she take it?"
"Uh... she was... sort of disturbed. Then she made me call Marcy David, Holly, Anna, and Allen. That was a hassle. And she KNOWS how David and I do NOT get along... that sucked."
Adrienne chuckled, "Since when did you do what your mother told you to do?"
"... Shut up." Billie smirked and came and sat next to his wife, "So... feel like cooking dinner tonight?"
Adrienne playfully slapped Billie in the arm, "Fuck no!"
Billie stuck out his tongue, "Just kidding! What you want?"
"Uhm. Chinese food!" Adrienne said.
"Alright... I'll go pick some up then." Billie sauntered over to the front door and out to where his BMW was parked, but then turned and decided to drive the fairlane instead.

Jakob wandered down the stairs, and into the kitchen. 'Where the fuck is my mother?' he thought, and noticed her sitting on the couch watching 'Friends'.
"Mom... " He began. Adrienne looked up and motioned at him to come closer.
"What is it, honey?"
"Mom... it kinda feels like... Like, I dunno, like it was my fault that Joey's dead now... Cause if I hadn't punched Matthew, then he might still be alive." Jakob stared into his mother's eyes intently. He watched her expression change.
"What? No."
"Yes... if you hadn't gone to my meeting, he wouldn't have... done it."
"Jakey... No. Don't think that way... just don't. We don't need it."
Jakob's eyes narrowed. 'Mom isn't being very nice... ' He left the room and went back upstairs to lay down on his bed again.

After two weeks of waiting for results of the autopsy, the hospital called, and informed the Armstrong's that it was in fact the Zoloft that had killed Joey.
"Ok, well, thank you very much doctor, I suppose we'll speak with you soon." Billie hung up the phone.
"So, uh, Billie... What're we going to do about a.. you know.. a funeral?" Adrienne asked.
"Uhm... well, I suppose we should do it soon."
