Benjiman McCracken- The kid with some rage and alot of heart, chapter 3
---Six Months later---
"Wow, your really showing now." Toxic said, patting my pregnant belly lightly.
"Gee, thanks bitch!" I socked her arm playfully. I was living in my own aparment now. No more Bert. He wrote me even now and then but I never replied.
"Man, this thing gets in the way..." I muttered, almost hitting my belly in the table. Toxic laughed at my comment. I couldn't wait for this kid to be born. Oh, didn't I mention? Its a boy.
---3 Months later, August 24th---
"Holy shit dude, I just gave birth." I laughed to Toxic. She grinned and ran her pale hand over the baby boys small head.
"He's so cute." My mom had said for the hundreth time. I held him close to my body. I loved him already.
"Whats his name?" Mom asked.
"Ben." I replied quickly. They all stared at me funny. "I love the name Ben." I shrugged.
"Ben McCracken?" Toxic asked.
I nodded. "Whether Bert likes it or not, this is his kid, and you can tell." I looked down at him again. He had raven black hair and bright blue eyes. Just like his daddy.
Suddenly, the door opened. My jaw dropped. Bert. "Oh man...uh his Maria." He forced a smile. I smiled back. He looked around at Toxic and my mom. "Uh guys?" They nodded and walked out. He walked over to me- I mean us, slowly. "It's a boy?" He seemed shocked.
"Yeah." I said quietly. He sat down in a chair next to me.
He seemed amazed. "Whats his name?" He asked in almost a whisper.
"Benjiman." I replied. He stuck his hand out and Ben grabbed his finger. I looked at Bert. He was smiling.
When he finally let go, he asked, "So um, where's the birth certificate?" I pointed to the little desk in the corner. He walked over to it and signed his name. That made me smile a little. "Look Maria, I'm sorry about what I did, and I'm sure you probably don't care but, I really am."
I smiled. "It's okay Bert." He walked over and hugged me lightly. "We'll still be friends." I added. He pulled away and nodded.
---The next day---
"You gonna be okay?" Mom asked, pulling up to my apartment.
"Yeah, I'll be fine." I got out of the car and got Ben out.
Mom grabbed a couple bags and brought them up stairs for me. "Call if you need anything." She hugged me and then kissed my cheek.
She turned to Ben, who was sleeping peacfully in my arms, and kissed his forehead. "I'll see you soon my wittle Benny!" I rolled my eyes. She kissed his nose and then left. I sat on the couch and rocked him back and forth. Every so often he would wake up and grab my finger to play with. I smiled at my son. Wow, it felt weird to say that.
