Papercuts and Paper Hearts, chapter 3
Tre's P. O. V
"Man, this thong is riding up on me," I said.
"Why me?" Melanie asked.
"Why what?" Mike said.
"Why do you guys want to stay here? I mean like, why not my neighbors?" she asked.
"Well, your neighbors have fake plants in their yard. And an axe in their front yard. And your other neighbors have 4 little kids running around. Your house seemed perfect for us," Billie said. She smiled at him.
"Well thanks for choosing me. Do you guys want to go out to the mall? We all fit in my car," she asked.
"Sure," Mike said.
"Okay, let me go change," she said.
Melanie's P. O. V
I ran up the stairs and into my room. I went into my closet and picked out an Abercombie jean skirt and a green hollister T-shirt. I pulled on my Nike Shox and fixed my hair. I ran down the stairs and grabbed my keys. I put on my Abercrombie sweater and we were off.
"Tre will you just pick a damn station!" Billie yelled from the back seat.
"It's not my fault, theres nothing on!" he yelled back. I grabbed my CD and put in Avenged Sevenfold.
"Is that better?" I asked.
"No. I want something I can dance too," Tre said.
"FINE." I took out the CD and put in some techno crap. Tre sat next to me doing the robot. Thank god we were at a red light.
At the mall.
Melanie's P. O. V
"Where do you guys want to go?" I asked them.
"Anywhere," They all said.
"Melanie, do you like dressing the way you do?" Tre asked.
"No. I mean some of the stuff is nice, but like I'd rather dress like you guys. I did once and I died my hair purple. But my parents threatened to throw me out of the house, and I was only 12," I said. It was true. I guess I could do what I want now, I'm 24.
"Well, me and the guys are going to transform you," Mike said. We walked into Hot Topic, and the guys picked out everything. I ended up buying it all. I bought an Adeline sweater, black jeans, black converses, a Green Day shirt, and alot more. We then left the mall, got into my car, and went to the hair color place where Tre ran in and came out with about 5 hair dyes. We left and then went back to my house.
