"Hey Adie how was the party that Amy had?" asked Tre looking at Adie cooking.
"What party? Amy didn't have a party," said Adie looking at Tre with raised eyebrows.
"Oh, ok then," said Tre the clogs in his head starting to turn and he tried to figure out what was going on.
"What did she say she did?" asked Adie, puzzled by Tre's question.
"Has she been acting weird since I have been gone?" asked Tre taking a sip from his beer.
"Ah she has increased Jayden's childcare time and has been looking really down come to think of it and she drinks a little more when were out," said Adie.
"What increased his care she didn't even want to put him in that place," said Tre.
"What about work has she been working a lot?" asked Tre.
"Not really maybe once a week that is why I was confused about Jayden's childcare," said Adie, continuing to cook.
"I'll talk to her tonight," said Tre as he walked out of the kitchen to join the boys in the basement.
Later on that night back at Tre and Amy's place.
"When are the kids coming over?" asked Amy folding the cloths.
"Ah, after I get back in about 2 months," said Tre watching his wife, waiting for the right time to say something.
"Will you be back in between then?" asked Amy, going to walk up the stairs.
"No, Amy wait can you come here? We need to talk," said Tre.
"Ok what is it?" asked Amy looking a little alarmed by Tre.
"Amy I asked Adie about the part you said you had and she said she knew nothing of it. Amy, do you want to explain why all the alcohol is gone?" asked Tre, looking at his wife's stunned expression.
"Well, I ah, I drank it all ok," said Amy trying to look at Tre in the eyes.
"All of it? There was a fucking shit load of it in there, and you drank it all?" asked Tre shaking his head.
"What, like it is such a bad thing you drink all the time and the one time I decide to have a drink, you judge me?" said Ally putting the basket of cloths on the floor and putting her hands on her hips.
"Yeah, I drink. but fuck Amy there was a lot in there," said Tre.
"So what, I had a drink. Big deal, Tre. Stop acting like this is a situation," said Amy, walking off.
"Don't you walk away from me, I'm talking to you. I think you have a problem," said Tre, standing up to go after her.
"What? A problem? I don't have a problem, Tre. You are the problem," said Amy turning around and looking Tre straight in the eye.
"I'm the problem? Yeah, blame it all on me, Amy, like you always do," said Tre.
"Oh, you're a brave man Tre Cool, I'll give you that I don't blame you for every thing. You're the one who took off on tour and left me here. Don't you fucking dare start on me," said Ally. The tone in her voice was something she had never heard before.
"I left, I had to. That is my fucking job and I asked you to come. So don't stand there as if I didn't care, that I just packed up and left," said Tre, looking at his wife. The expression on her face had not changed since the argument started.
"You know what? Tre fuck you, fuck this house, fuck this marriage, fuck it all," said Amy heading for the door and picking her keys up off the table.
"Oh yeah, that's it, take off, go on leave, fuck it, see if I care Amy. Go, just go," said Tre. For the first time in his life he watched his wife walk out the door not knowing if she would be back.
4 hours later
Tre was sitting on the couch Jayden was asleep when there was a knock at the door
Tre got up to answer it.
"Adie what are you doing here is everything ok?" asked Tre looking a little surprised.
"Ah, I think you should come to the car, Amy is there," said Adrienne.
Tre and Adrienne walked to the car Tre looked into the car to see Amy asleep in the front seat.
"You two have fight?" asked Adie.
"Yeah about her drinking," said Tre opening the car door.
"She called me about half and hour ago and I could tell she was blind drunk so I went to pick her up," said Adie looking at Tre's expression one of sadness.
"Thanks," said Tre unbuckling Amy.
"Tre, I think she has a problem," said Adie helping Tre take the seat belt off Amy.
"I know she does. She won't admit it," said Tre, picking Amy up out of the car.
"Maybe you should sit down and talk to her about it Tre," said Adie.
"I tried, but she got all angry and started to yell. She said some pretty awful things Adie. I don't know what to do," said Tre walking up the stairs to the house.
"Well you'll figure it out. I know the love you two have for each other it won't be easy but you'll figure it out," said Adie as she gave Tre a pat on the back and went back to her car.
Tre took Amy to their room, put her down on the bed, walked out of the room, went into the spare bedroom, and went to bed.
