The next day
Tre was still asleep on the couch when he felt someone shaking his arm.
"Tre wake up," said the voice shaking his arm.
Tre mumbled something and turned over.
"Tre wake the fuck up," said the voice again this time shaking Tre more violently then before.
Tre opened his eyes to see Billie and Mike standing above him.
"What are you guys doing here?" Tre asked as he sat up on the couch and rubbed his eyes.
"Came to see, but it seems we interrupted your decorating," said Mike as he looked around the house at all the broken photo frames, there was glass all over the place.
"Oh ah yeah," Tre said as he looked around the house to see what he had done.
"Where is Amy?" asked Billie as he picked up a broken photo frame off the floor.
"Here look at this," said Tre as he picked the letter up off the table and passed it over to Billie.
Billie and Mike read over the letter, Tre watched the expression on their faces.
"What, I knew you two were having problems but I didn't think it was this bad," said Billie as he passed the letter back over to Tre.
"Well looks like we were worse then I thought to," said Tre as he went to pick up the beer on the coffee table and take a swig.
Billie took the beer from his hands and shook his head.
"Mike will go make you a coffee," said Billie passing the beer to Mike.
"No it's ok I'm fine," said Tre getting up off the couch.
"No you're not Tre, come on Mike and I will clean this up while you go and have a shower," said Billie putting his arm around Tre.
"I don't deserve you guys," said Tre as he began to walk up to his room.
"Sure you do, and Tre she'll come back," Mike said as he watched his heart broken friend walk up to his room.
"I hope so," said Tre as he walked up to his room to take a shower.
A week later
Amy had rented a house not far from Tre's place so that Jayden could spend time with his dad as much as possible; Amy was making Jayden some lunch when there was a knock at the door.
Amy opened the door and Adrienne was standing there.
"Adie hey, come on in," said Amy opening the door and motioning Adie to come inside.
"Hey Amy I can't stay for long, but we need to talk," said Adie following Amy threw to the kitchen.
"Adie if it is about Tre I don't want to hear it at the moment," said Amy sitting down and feeding Jayden.
"Amy I want you to come back and work for me," said Adie sitting down at the table.
"Why would you want that, so I'm closer to Tre?" said Amy wiping Jayden's face.
"No, because I need you back there, this new girl we have is terrible, I want you to start on Monday," said Adie smiling over at Jayden who was trying to wriggle out of his chair.
"Monday, this Monday? I don't have childcare for Jayden," said Amy trying to make an excuse up.
"Tre can look after him," said Adie raising her eyebrows with a you're not getting out of it look on her face.
"Fine, I call Tre and organize it," said Amy standing up and walking over to the sink.
"Good, well like I said I can't stay long so I'm off, but I'll see you Monday," said Adie picking up her bag, walking over to Amy, and giving her a kiss on the cheek.
"Bye Adie, see you then," said Amy as she watched Adie go out the door.
