The room was dark and the only light that came in was from the cracks in the blinds in Tre's room, she sat there is the darkness holding his hand tightly as tears fell down her face and onto the clean crisp white sheets.
"Amy," said a quiet voice coming from the door.
It was Adie and Billie; Amy looked up at them, and laid her head back down onto the bed.
Adie walked over and put her hand onto Amy's shoulder. "He'll wake up," she said trying to make Amy feel better.
Amy didn't move. "And what if he doesn't? he will never know how I fell, he will never know how much I love him, it's all my fault," said Amy as more tears flowed from her eyes.
Adie looked over at Billie, Billie just looked back he didn't know what to say to her, he was upset that his best friend was lying there.
Finally Billie got up and walked over to Amy, he lifted her head up with his hand and looked into her eyes. "He'll wake up and he knows how much you love him, you too never stopped loving each other, he knew he loved you from the first time he kissed you, and that's the truth," he said as he gave her a kiss on the forehead.
Amy shook her head and began to wipe the tears from her eyes. "I can't go on without him, I feel lifeless," she said.
Billie ran his hands over his face and grabbed her hands cupping hers in his. "You have to, you have a son that needs you, Tre will wake up, but you sitting here and crying day after day isn't helping him, your son needs you," he said as he let go of his hands and walked back to his seat.
Amy thought about what Billie had said and looked over at Adie and Billie as they sat there holding hands. "Can you take me to see him," said Amy as she stood up from her chair.
Billie gave a slight smile as he walked over and took Amy by the hand. "Sure," he said.
Amy took his hand as they went to walk out the door, she stopped and let go of Billie's hand, she walked back towards Tre's bed and placed a kiss on his lips. "I'll be back soon, I love you," she said as she then walked away and out of the door closing it behind her.
Tre's P.o.v
Why can't I wake up? My head hurts and I can't open my eyes, I can't even move my body, but I can hear her and I can hear Billie and Adie, why can't I talk? I don't know where I am or what happened.
Back at Billie and Adie's place
Amy walked in and sat down at the kitchen table, she could see Mike and Brittney outside playing with the kids in the backyard, Adie walked into the kitchen and looked over to Amy. "Do you want a coffee?" she asked as she opened the fridge door to get some milk out.
Amy shook her head and gave Adie a slight smile, Adie shook her head and walked over to Amy, she knelt down in front of her. "Amy you have to eat and sleep, your not doing your self or Tre any good you know," said Adie as she ran her hand over Amy's tired face.
Amy looked up, the dark circles underneath her eyes were terrible and she hadn't eaten in 3 days. "I know," she said as she rolled her eyes and gave Adie a smile.
Adie stood up and gave her a kiss on the head. "I'll make you something," she said as she walked back over to the kitchen.
Suddenly Jayden came running into the room with Joey and Jakob. "Mummy," he said as he jumped into her arms and hugged her tightly.
Amy sighed as she lifted his head and looked into his eyes, they looked just like Tre's. "I'm sorry mummy wasn't around the past week," she said kissing his head.
Jayden smiled and jumped down and began to run after Joey and Jakob. "No running in the house," Adie screamed after them as she placed a plate of food down in front of Amy.
Amy played with the food for a while before putting it on to her fork and into her mouth, Brittney came into the kitchen. "Hey Amy," she said as she sat down at the table with Adie and Amy.
Amy looked up and gave a slight smile. "Hey Brit," she said as she placed her fork back down on the plate.
Adie shook her head and raised her eyebrows. "Eat, now," she said moving the plate towards Amy.
Amy sighed and began to eat. "Sorry I'm such a mess," she said.
Brittney and Adie smiled. "We understand, and its ok we don't mind," said Brittney as she took a sip from her coffee.
Amy finished off her food and walked out into the lounge and sat on the couch. "Mummy where daddy?" asked Jayden as he climbed onto his mothers lap.
Amy began to cry again. "We'll go see him tomorrow ok?" said Amy placing a kiss on his cheek.
Jayden smiled and looked up at his mother. "Ok," he said as he climbed back down on to the floor and ran off.
The next day in Tre's room
Amy came in and put Jayden up on bed with Tre. "Daddy sleeping?" Jayden asked.
Amy sighed. "Yeah daddy is asleep," she said as she grabbed Tre's hand.
Jayden giggles unaware of what was going on. "Wake daddy up now," said Jayden as he shook Tre.
Amy picked Jayden back up and placed him on her lap. "Daddy wake up soon baby, really soon," said Amy.
The door to Tre's room opened and Mike and Brittney walked in. "The doctor needs to talk to you Amy," said Mike as he picked Jayden up off the floor and took him out of the room.
Amy nodded and Mike walked out of the room, Brittney walked over and placed her hand on Amy's. "He'll wake up soon, don't worry," said Brittney as she gave her a hug and walked out of the room.
Amy gave a weak smile and watched Brittney leave and the doctor walk into the room. "Mrs. Wright, I have some news about Frank," said the doctor as he placed Tre's chart down on the bed.
Amy looked up at him and nodded.
The doctor walked over to Tre's side and picked up his hand and started to move is fingers. "See the lines on that monitor and how when you touch him or talk they rise?" the doctor said.
Amy nodded. "Yes, what does it mean?" she asked as she picked up his hand and watched the lines increase on the machine.
The doctor smiled. "It means he knows what is going on he can feel things and hear things but he just can't respond to it or move," said the doctor placing Tre's hand back down on the bed.
Amy tilted her head. "That is good news right?" she asked as she held his hand tighter.
The doctor nodded his head. "It is but he still hasn't not shown any signs of waking up Mrs. Wright, if Frank doesn't wake up soon, well there isn't much we can do for him," said the doctor.
Amy widened her eyes. "Nothing you can do? There has to be something," she said as she stood up off the chair.
The doctor shook is head. "I'm sorry but it's all up to Frank now," said the doctor.
Amy sat back down, and the doctor walked back out of the room. "Tre you have to wake up, please Tre I know you can hear me," said Amy placing a kiss on his forehead.
Tre's p.o.v
I can hear and I can feel everything you people are doing to me, why can't I fucking wake up? I need to wake up, for Jayden, Frankito and Ramona and above all for Amy, damn it Tre, wake the fuck up.
