Yes, it's another Green Day vampire story. Featuring Fall Out Boy., chapter 5
The phone rang. Billie answered it, not expecting quite what he was going to hear. "Hello?" He said
"Hey Bill, its me Patrick," The caller answered.
"Oh hey Pat, what's up?"
"Bill, um, listen, me and the guys drew lots on who tells you this, and I lost, so here goes. Its Mike."
"What about Mike?" Billie tensed. Patrick and the others were jokers, especially Pete, but this could be real for a change.
"Well, you know we recently got that tracking thingy that no one but Andy actually understands?"
"Yes..."
"Well, we picked up an unknown vampire around your area, we tracked it for a bit. It didn't worry us much, until we saw it go to Tre's place yesterday."
"But, I had band practice at Tre's yesterday, I would have seen... wait, are you telling me... "
"Yes, unfortunately, Mike's a vampire," Patrick sounded serious and scared. If it was Pete, maybe he wouldn't be so worried, but Patrick couldn't fake it to save his life.
"Since when?"
"Dunno, probably quite a while."
"What the hell am I gonna do?! I can't kill my best friend!" Lucky Adie's out, Billie thought. She would demand an explanation on all this, and his secret would be out.
"Approach him, tell him you know. Look at us, we get on fine with Pete, he even helped us slay Mansec, and that was tough I can tell you. But he's as much our friend now as he ever was," Billie sighed. "I suppose."
Pete had been a vampire since about 6 months ago. Because he had been part of the team before, Andy, Patrick and Joe had helped him. Pete was pretty much able to be normal, except, obviously, he was a Hunter. "But what the hell am I gonna do? Should I just act like I don't know?"
"You're gonna have to confront him. Tell him you know. We might be wrong of course, but we rarely are."
"Well that's comforting!"
"Don't worry, its not the end of the world."
"I guess." Billie thought he heard something behind him. He spun round, nothing there.
"I'm really sorry about this Billie," He heard. Suddenly, he felt a sharp pain across the back of his head, and everything went black. The phone clattered to the floor. Patrick was still on.
"Billie? You there? BILLIE?!"
"Hey Bill, its me Patrick," The caller answered.
