Blood's Supposed to be Thicker than Water, chapter 3
Frankito woke up, tired and confused about his parents last night. Those cries, those thuds, those thoughts about what happend behind the closed door.
But he had to put them out of his mind as best as he could. Frankito walked downstairs to find his mom sitting at the kitchen table reading a newspaper.
"Where's Dad?"
"He's asleep, leave him alone," Claudia snapped instantly. It was as if Frankito wasn't to know about it.
"I'm going out," Frankito said, taking his leather jacket from the coat hooks under the stairs. Claudia stood behind him as Frankito slipped it onto his arms.
"You're going to school."
"I'm suspended."
"Me and Mr. Anderson came to an agreement about this, you are going like it or not." Frankito sighed and wanted his dad to defend him but upstairs was quiet.
Claudia drove Frankito into the school grounds as she gave him a lunch pack of some healthy food. He took it and looked at it.
"Im not eating this."
"Yes you are unless you want to end up like your dad."
"What's worse, being like dad or being like you!" Frankito slammed the car door shut almost smashing the thin class. Claudia pulled away as Frankito stood outside the gymnasium for Joey and Estelle.
Frankito was waiting, almost instantly a group of girls walked by.
"Yeah that's the Punk kid, he could have killed Manfred," The cheerleaders all chirped in as Frankito thought, no wonder with a name like that.
Joe and Estelle saw Frankito smoking. Joey leaned against the wall as the three began talking. Frankito still didn't tell the other two about Tre's illness or about last night. He was ashamed and scared to admit it just in case it couldn't be stopped, maybe it wouldn't maybe it would get worse but Frankito questioned it. Oath?
"So Anderson let you come back."
"Yeah and my mom dragged me here. God, I could fucking slap her sometimes."
"You do know if Manfried the Mamoth died you could..."
"Yeah I know, I had that sorta fixated in my head." Estelle grabbed his cigarette pressed in between his lips as she took a long draw on it.
"Good, lets go."
The three of them went to class, unprepared of what was going to happen.
Fifth class
Frankito and Joey sat at the side with Estelle next to Joey on his left. Mrs. Cook stood up as she wanted the class to be quiet.
"Okay class, we have some special people here today. We have four men here from the FBI and the unknown services in the White House." Everyone applauded until Frankito Joe and Estelle saw him...
