I'm Okay, I'm Alright., chapter 5
"Is there a Shaylee here?" the person asked.
"May I ask why?" Billie asked looking out for me.
"Well, I guess you could say we are friends," said this person. Billie let him in, he came into the room just as I got a call on my cell.
I looked at it, it said Leo. I answered.
"Hey Leo, what's up?" I asked into the phone not realising who was standing there.
"Nothin much, just thought I would call you and see if maybe some time this week you would want to go out and do something maybe?" he asked kinda shyly.
"Yes, I will go out somewhere with you Leo."
"Great well I got to go but I will call you soon."
"Ok Leo, bye."
"Bye."
I hung up and looked at the persson who stood in front of me it was none other than Pete and my sister.
"What was that about? Who is this Leo?" Pete asked with shock on his face.
"Well, if you must know Leo is a close friend of mine in a way," I answered as rude as I could, I wasn't in the mood to be nice to them.
"What the hell is that s'pose to mean I thought you loved me, and you are gonna go out with another guy!" Pete exclaimed.
"One, I did love you, but do expect me to still love you after I catch you fucking me sister. And I can go out with anyone I want I am not a child," I said my voice raising. Thank God Billie and Adie were still there because Pete hit me.
My sister sceamed, I don't know why, Adie ran to the phone and called the police and Billie grabbed hold of Pete. I just sat there stunned in the two years Pete and I were together he has never hit me, I was speechless.
The police came and took him back to where he came from, and my sister tried to be-friend me, but honesly I couldn't really ever talk to her again, and be civil.
After, all of this I went to bed without a word.
I woke up to my cell ringing, I looked at it, it said Catie, one of my best friends. I answered.
"Hey Cat," I almost scearmed into the phone.
"Hey Shay Shay."
"What's up?"
"Well, I was wondering where you were Alli said you moved."
"I am in Oakland, I will give you the address and you can come by."
"You know it."
I gave her the address and she said she would be here as soon as she get here.
After I woke up I got ready for work and went to work for a few hours.
At my lunch break I saw familier people walk in, I was just about to get back on so I just went to take their order, it was the Green Day family of course.
After a uneventful day I went home to find my best friend chatting it up with Tre.
"CATIE!!!!!!" I screamed and I guess I scared Tre, cause he jumped about 5 feet in the air.
"SHAY SHAY!!!!" she also screamed, running over to me and hugging me.
So we caught up I told her everything that happened in the past few days. When we laughing we just realised that the Green Day people were looking at us like we were insane.
"Oh yeah, this is Mike, Mel, Billie, Adie, Tre, and kids. This is Catie," I said nicely.
