I'm Okay, I'm Alright., chapter 6
"Hi Catie," everyone said.
"What is up with you people? You act like ya never seen a new person before!" Catie said in a matter of fact tone.
My cell had just started ringing; I of course took the call. It was Leo.
"I'll be right back," I said, heading out back.
*Out Back*
"Hey Leo."
"Hey girlie. What are you doing, say right now?" he asked.
"Well, nothing. May I ask why, Mr. Leo?"
"Because I want to take you out."
"Well ask me."
"Want to go out in a while?"
"Why yes, I would love to," I said happily, moving on from one of the "best" boyfriends really can make you happy and shows how strong you really are.
"Ok, so see you when?"
"Come get me in a hour?"
"Yep, yep, will do. What's your address?"
I gave him my, well Billie and Adie's address, and said buh-bye.
*Inside*
"Sorry about that, Leo called; he is taking me out to dinner."
"Shay, Shay, who is Leo?" Catie asked with a dumb look on her face.
"A close friend of mine, maybe even a boyfriend." When I said that, Mike looked pale, but once again I shook it off.
"Adie, Cat Cat, and Melly, can you help me find something to wear, please?" I said as I stuck my bottom lip out.
"Yeah," they all said at the same time.
We walked up the stairs; I got to wear something from Adie's closet. I picked a black skirt and a black skull shirt. She even did my make-up, which was eyeliner!
When they were finished, each one of them took a step back to look at their masterpiece.
"I love it!" Adie yelled.
"Me too!" Catie yelled.
"So do I!" Melly also yelled.
"Great, he is gonna be here any minute. Let's go down stairs," I said, walking out of the room.
When I got downstairs, I asked the guys what they thought of my outfit. They all loved it.
The doorbell had just rang; I went to get it, but everyone rushed ahead. Adie told me that everyone in the Green Day family needed to approve of him.
They all came back with Leo and talked to themselves to see if he was approved. Thank God they all agreed.
When that was over with, Leo and I went out to dinner.
*Still At The Armstrong's*
*The Guys Are Out Back*
"I don't like him," Mike stated.
"Don't like who?" Tre asked.
"Leo, doesn't seem right for her, y'know?"
"No, I think you just can't handle that she is out with someone else that is not you right now," Billie stated in a matter-of-fact tone.
"What do you mean?" Mike asked like he didn't know what was going on.
"It's not hard to tell that you like her, God," Tre explained.
Mike just looked at them...
"How do you know I like her?"
"Because you are always, ALWAYS, checking her out, you always get this weird look on your face when she talks about Leo, and you have stopped kissing, hugging, and flat out talking to Melly when you are around her," Billie once again said in a matter-of-fact tone.
"Fine, fine, you caught me," Mike said, looking down at the ground
*A Few Hours Later*
I had had a few or more drinks, I had lost count, when I waltzed through the door with Leo behind me.
"Heys guys," I said, slurring my words.
"Nothing much, just waiting for you. Maybe you should go to bed, girlie," Tre said.
"That is what we are going to do," I said giggling, looking at Leo winking. I know everyone saw, 'cause they all started laughing. Mike, however wasn't. I may have been drunk, but I know he wasn't laughing.
"Yeah, we are gonna go now," Leo said, starting to lead us up the stairs, kissing.
