Panic Attacks can lead to coma's, and comas can lead to Good Things, chapter 3
6 months later
Tania's P.O.V.
It was hard still knowing that Billie may never wake up. I'm fourteen now, and he's missed so much. Adie has come over here permanently now, well until Billie wakes up. She had to leave Joey and Jakob over there with their Nan, and we know she misses them so much. We keep getting calls from the hospital urging us to let him go. We will never let him go. Since Mum and Emma died I've been living with Mike, in his rented out apartment in the Bay. He's become like a father to me now, even though I am legally an orphan. Ellis and I are now an item. We are SO in love and I wish Billie were awake to meet him, and Ellis wishes it too. Anyway, enough with the sob story.
I get a call at midnight from Adie.
"Uhuh?"
"Hey Tani, I'm so sorry to wake you up but the hospital want to let Billie go."
"NO! we can't give up hope!"
"That's what I said, but there are a lot of people who need to use the ventilator... come with me to the hospital, give him one more chance."
I start crying. Mike walks in, wearing just his boxers and sits on my bed. "They want Billie to die!!!" I sob. "They can't kill him, he's all I've got left!!!
At The Hospital
Adie's P.O.V.
Billie is lying in a different position. I walk over to him and kiss him, then sit on the stool next to him and start talking to him. Tania walks in and lies on the bed next to him.
"Tani, you can't keep doing that. You've been doing it for 4 months now and it hasn't worked," I say, sadly. She shrugs and gets down.
"Wake up Billie, you selfish prat! You've had enough sleep to last you a decade! Wake up!!!" Tania yelled.
"Shhhhh, Tania its just gone one in the morning!! I know you're upset but he's not being selfish!!" I whisper, crossly. A doctor walks in.
"Hello ladies, any signs showing Mr. Armstrong is going to wake up yet? Try talking to him, do things he likes... or hates? Even the smallest thing can work," he said. He smiled and walked out of the room. Adie whispers something in Billie's ear and watches him.
At school next day
Tania's P.O.V.
I walk into school to find my best mate Ruby waiting for Bryony. She seemed to have forgotten me. I march over and start talking to her.
"Hey Rube?" I say, and she stares at me. Then she grins and we hug. I haven't been to school in four months. I couldn't bring myself to go to school then be told that Billie had woken up when I was in school. But today Mike had forced me to go, otherwise I would never get a good education. Anyway. We hugged each other and went looking for Bryony, my other friend. We walked into the library and Davi was in there. He walked over and gave me a hug. I got a lot of hugs. Hehe.
Anyway. I walked over to the 'comfy seats' as we call them, and I spot Ellis sitting talking to Alex and Rebecca. These people don't come in to the story much, so I'm just mentioning them. When Ellis saw me, he budged up and I went and sat over by him. We had a little cuddle and carried on talking to everyone else.
"Oh and by the way, how is Billie?" asked Ellis, quietly in my ear.
"He's still in a coma. Come and see him tonight. I really want you to," I say back to him, and he nods. When the bell goes to start school, I peck Ellis on the cheek, and everyone wolf whistles.
"So what? I love my girlfriend, I bet you would all do the same!" he bellows at them. I smile up at him.
School whizzed past today. All the teachers said they were starting to forget me!!! Cheek!! I am unforgettable. When the bell to end school went, I went to meet Ellis and we walk to the hospital together.
When we get there Adie comes rushing out. "Tania! Hey! You must be Ellis, Tania has told us all about you!!!" she says happily. She hugs me and we walk in to Billie's private room. Ellis sees Billie lying senseless on the bed and sighs.
"So no signs of waking then??" he says, looking sad. I walk over to him and put my arm around him. Suddenly some people walk into the room. It is Sam and Davi. We greet each other and then all stare at Billie Joe. Mike and Tre walk in, Mike with his beloved coffee in his hand, and Tre with a muffin. They see us staring, and follow suit.
"Oh Billie, You're causing so much sadness here," says Adrienne, tears starting to fall down her cheeks.
Billie Joe's P.O.V.
Everything is hazy. I can see Adie crying. I think I'll wake up now.
Tre's P.O.V.
Billie's eyes start to flutter! HE'S WAKING UP!!!!!!!!! Suddenly everyone goes into happy motion. Everyone starts crying, including Mike, and he doesn't usually cry. Well, Ellis doesn't cry, but he comforts Tani. She is laughing with happiness, and sadness that he had missed so much.
Tania's P.O.V.
I'm crying so much I can hardly breath. Billie manages to open his eyes wider, and he grins a very wide grin. Adrienne dives in to him, and practically flattens him. They hug SO passionately, and then French kiss. (EWWWW).
A week and a half after Billie Joe woke up, he was allowed to go home. Adrienne was bringing over Joey and Jakob from Cali, and they would be staying in Wales until Tania had a guardian. If she couldn't get a guardian, then she would have to leave her school and go live in Oakland with her brother.
However, her relationship with Ellis was still blossoming, and her best friend Ruby had recently got her first real boyfriend, James, but she called him Jazz. He was a punk/goth and they adored each other.
Tania's P.O.V.
I get home to find Adrienne cooking this delicious smelling gloop. Jakob is sitting at the table, doing homework.
"Tan, will you help me?" he asked.
"Sure kiddo, what do you need help with?" I answer back. I help him and then go upstairs to my room. I've recently taken up guitar, so started to practise. Billie walks in, and sees me strumming away.
