"Speak of the devil," Matt laughed. "DIPPY! OVER HERE!"
"Matt, don't call me Dippy!" Nick yelled. Then he spotted me. "Kay?"
"Thanks for pointing out the obvious, Dippy," I laughed.
"Do you even know what that-WHOA," he said upon spotting Billie Joe, Tre, and Mike. He stood there dumbstruck
"Hi, Dippy!" Tre yelled, making Nick jump. I slapped Tre across the side of his head. "Owie! What was that for!?"
"Don't scare my friends!" I scolded.
"Sorry, mommy," Tre whined, grabbing my arm. Now Billie whacked his head saying, "Grow up."
"Why?"
"Okay, are we gonna go to your room or not?" I asked, pulling Tre away from Billie.
Nick, Derek, and Matt's room was next to theirs (joy), so they came over to Tre and Mike's for a while.
"Remind me why you three are at a hotel?" I asked.
"Because we needed away from family," Matt laughed, then realized what a grave mistake he just made. "Shit, Kay, I didn't mean it like that."
"Kay, stop!" Nick said, grabbing hold of me because I was about to storm out of the room. "You know he didn't mean it! Matt's being his usual dumbass self!"
"Yeah, I- HEY!" Matt yelled, realizing what Nick just said.
Tre's POV
"I wanna go bug them," I whined.
"No, Tre, let them talk," Adrienne scolded. "They haven't seen each other for a while."
"Does checking on my friend count? She is with THREE BOYS... " I said that last part a little loudly, looking in Billie's direction.
"Shut it, Tre," he glared. "I trust Kay."
Kay's POV
We were laughing up a storm at Matt's stupidity, and I guess Tre, Jake, and Joey heard us, because they ran in screaming "WHAT'S SO FUNNY!?"
"Matt having a very slow brain process," I laughed.
"Do not!" Matt yelled defensively. "Nick just uses big words, and that confuses me!"
"Big words? The only big word he used was dumbass!"
"Alright, enough screaming," Mike said, coming in. "Joey, Jake, and Kay-Billie and Adie are leaving so get your butts out. Tre, if you're gonna be hyper all night, stay with Matt, Derek, and Nick-I actually want to get some sleep."
"You're no fun, Mike," Tre whined, following the boys out.
"See you later," Billie Joe said to Mike. "And lock the door very tightly."
"Don't have to tell me that twice," Mike yawned. "See you guys tomorrow."
"Bye," I hollered as Mike shut the door. "Know what? I'm kinda tired, too. Can we go home?"
"Sure," Billie Joe laughed, helping me to the car. Once in, I fell right asleep.
I woke up after having a nightmare. I got up to get some water, and hopefully calm my nerves. Then I saw Jake sitting in a corner of the living room.
"Jake?" I asked, walking over. "What's wrong?"
"Nightmare," he muttered.
I smiled. "Me too. Come on, let's watch some TV." I grabbed the remote and sat down on the couch, and turned VH1 on. "Music videos?" Jake didn't answer, he'd already fallen asleep curled up to me. I laughed to myself, and flicked it to MTV, and they were doing something on Green Day, and I fell asleep to it.
"Kay, wake up," I heard Adie say as she was shaking me awake.
I yawned.
"I take it you'll be up in a few?" I nodded in response. "Good. Me and Billie Joe are going out, and Mike will be over later. Please, PLEASE make sure the boys don't get in trouble."
I heard her give instructions to the boys, and a lecture on how to behave while I blared Jesus of Suburbia-the only song that jolted me awake-on my speakers. "I'M AWAKE!!" I hollered over my music. Jake and Joey came in, so I assumed Adie and Billie Joe left.
"I'm bored," Jake nagged.
"Don't nag. I hate people when they nag," I groaned. I'm not a morning person, awake or not.
"You hate me?" Jake muttered, looking as if he were going to cry.
"No, Jake, I don't hate you. I'm not a morning person. You know that."
Once again, the doorbell rang. I told the boys to see who it was while I changed out of my PJs.
"KAAYY!!!" Dear god, Tre was here. Of course, he tried to get through my door, but ran smack into it. I was laughing my head off as I unlocked and opened it.
"You don't look where you're going do you?" I laughed, helping him up.
"I do. But your door doesn't, or it would have moved."
"Freak."
"Weirdo."
"Rabbit."
"Sprite can infinity-can't-beat-that!"
"Not fair! You used infinity-can't-beat-that!" I stuck my tongue out at him as Mike came down the hall.
"Both of you are hyper," he laughed.
"Actually, wait till noon, or when I get my hands on a Mountain Dew. I just woke up," I yawned.
"Oh, joy, today is gonna be fun," Mike sighed. "I'm stuck with four 14-yr-olds, an 11-yr-old, a 7-yr-old, AND Tre. Terrific."
"Four... ?" I didn't finish because Matt, Derek, and Nick jumped me and pushed me down. "No need to explain," I managed to mutter.
"Boomers ring a bell?" Mike asked, laughing his butt off.
"HURRICANE!!!!" I screamed, making the 3 boys jump off of me, and I cracked my mirror. "Damn, that's the second mirror this year I've cracked!" And my saying that caused Mike and the others, and now Joey and Jake, to be on the ground roaring with laughter. "I'm serious!" I said, but I was trying not to crack up, too.
AT BOOMERS
"YES! Unlimited Hurricane bracelets! Whoo-hoo!" I hollered, running to my favorite roller coaster.
"Is it good?" Joey asked, excited. Mike and Tre were hiding, as not to be seen.
"If you like bouncing out of your seat, oh, yes," I grinned. Soon, we were on the Hurricane, and finally, Mike had to come and drag us off, with it being 3 P.M. (we'd been riding the Hurricane since noon)
"Whoa," I said, stepping off, my legs wobbling. "My legs are shaky." I looked around and saw everyone else's were, too.
"Hungry anyone?" Mike asked, walking over the cars.
"Yes," the boys said in unison, but I declined.
"Are you feeling alright, Kay?" Nick said, checking my forehead. I was always up for food.
"Probably just rode one too many times," I managed to smile. I was feeling pretty sick. I think they saw, but decided not to say anything. But when I ran into the bathroom, I think they were pretty sure.
"Kay?" I heard Joey and Nick at the door. "Are you alright?"
"No," I managed to get out, before kicking the lock to the door open and letting them in. I was puking my guts out.
"Oh, god, Joey, get Mike," Nick ordered, running to my side. Joey went out running, and in 5 seconds, just in time for my next puking spree, they were back.
"Alright," Mike said, managing to pick me up. "Nick, get Tre to get the car. Then call Billie and Adie. We're going to the hospital." I wanted to argue, but was too weak. Next thing I know, I'm blacking out.
"Matt, don't call me Dippy!" Nick yelled. Then he spotted me. "Kay?"
"Thanks for pointing out the obvious, Dippy," I laughed.
