We'll Be Together Forever Someday..., chapter 5
"Excuse me sir, I would like to get a licence to see my niece."
"That would not be easy, What's your name?
"eh, Well, my name is..." -and peter came up with the first name he had in his mind, he was very nervous to think clear- "...Woody Allenger."
"Mmm... that sounds like a cheap copy of Woody Allen,"-said the man in the office with a sarcastic tone, and then his tone changed to a serious one:
"Are you sure you are not joking, listen man, this is serious, and you look very young to be an uncle"
"Well, you know what people say, Times change, and my brother is older than me..."
"No I don't know, and please, if you are trying to be a comedian, its not gonna work, now please, if you leave, I would be happy..."
"No wait, that's my name, Woody Allengerser, and I want to See Sabrina...-and he looked at the letter, the last name of Sabrina could be barely read it said something like Spencer- oh yeah, Sabrina Spender"
"But wasn't your name Woody Allenger? Why did you said Allengerser?
"Oh that's my second last name, my complete name is Woody Allenger Allengerser"
"Wow, its confusing, but now I've got your name, there's only one thing missing..."
"Well, what is it, cause I've told you my name and the girl's name"
"Yeah, you could say that, but Sabrina Spender doesn't exist"
"Look again, cause that's the name" -said Peter very secure, till he reacted and read the name "Sabrina Spencer"
"Excuse Mr. Allenger, I've checked like four times, and the only one is "Sabrina Spencer"
"Oh yeah, that's her, it's been a while since I haven't seen her, and since I hate my brother..."
"I don't think so, Sabrina's last name is Spencer and yours and your brother is Allenger, I don't see any relativity"
"She didn't like her father so she changed her name I think..."
"Well, I might give you the permission to see her, but you will have to be with some guards when you see her"
"So that's it? I've got the permission?"
"You can call it like that, take this and come tomorrow with your I.d. Card."
Those last words frightened Peter, from where was he going to get an Id card? but he was relieved that he was gonna see Sabrina, so he didn't care about that.
All the rest of the day, he tried to find out what to do with the id card, no idea came to his mind.
Then he was looking at some boys cutting some shreds of paper, and then a magical idea came to His mind. He got his Id card, it looked very original, he had to wait till the next day; He was very excited, Sabrina was going to be there, waiting for a visit, and Peter knew what was he going to tell her. So he finally fell asleep after eating some bread, and he was reading all the letters to invent a good excuse...
The next day he woke up very soon, it was not afternoon yet, but he wanted to revise everything to check nothing was suspicious. He was going through the lines he would say to Sabrina, then he went to town to eat something. After eating, he started to walk around to see people, and he finally made a conclusion:
"Wow, I can't believe people are very distant, they are very desensitized. I know that the kids are playing without thinking of what's next, and adults are thinking that life is hard, no one realizes that everybody has a life, they might have seen me, but they will never ask themselves what might I be doing, how my life is, No one asks cause everyone is on his own, then WHY am I worrying about Sabrina and George? I should be like other people and take care of myself, why am I doing this?"
Then, it was time to go to the "Shelter" and he went very confident without worrying. "Good Afternoon Mr. Allenger, are you ready?
"Yes of course, I'm ready"
"Ok, now show me your id card."
"No problem here it is." -and he showed it, the man at the door accepted it cause it looked very great. The trick was that he cut some shreds of paper, and he wrote on them another name with the help of a typewriter, he managed to paste it in a place where the color of the paper and the plastic where the same, and he also put a plastic layer so the part where the parts match wasn't noticeable.
"Now you are ready to enter, but remember, you have only 30 minutes to see her"
"Ok" -and Peter finally entered, as he was walking he noticed that every girl had a lost look in their eyes, they were sad, and Peter felt very bad. Some girls were cleaning some things, others were writing things; and then he saw a girl that was reading some papers, she was sitting alone in a bench, with a very messy hair and suddenly a woman came close to her and told her to do something, but the look in the girl rapidly changed as if it were consequences if she didn't do that so the girl went to help some girls to pick up the litter. Then Peter got close to a
woman and asked her: "Excuse me, is that girl named Sabrina Spencer?" "Yeah, she is why?" "Well, "Im allowed to talk to her, I'm her uncle"
and the woman yelled at Sabrina: "Spencer, come here, your uncle is here to visit you, he wants to talk to you"-Sabrina immediatly looked at him, and she made a face of not knowing him; everybody noticed it so Peter rapidly added: "Don't be shy, don't you remember your uncle?"
And Sabrina paid more attention to his face, and she said: "Oh my god! You..." and she went to him.
"Ok now, excuse me lady, would you mind...?" - and the woman left them alone.
"Sabrina, listen, before you say anything, I'm Peter, George's Friend, I'm pretending to be your Uncle, they wouldn't let me in if I had said that I was a friend, so I had to change my name to Woody Allenger Allengerser"
"Ok, wow, I can't believe George sent you, but why didn't he come too?"
"Well, he is working in something, but believe me he really wants to see you, so I will manage to get you out of here, in the meanwhile, how have you been?" -And that was the beginning of a new conversation, Sabrina explained all with lots of details, and Peter also told her about his life, Sabrina's face was changing, she payed a lot of attention to Peter and she never stopped looking at him, her eyes were full of joy, very clear, like shining, she felt very good to see someone she knew. Then, a man arrived and said it was time to go, both said goodbye, and they hugged. Then Peter left, but he was decided not to leave her there, he said he would visit her again, and she was excited about that.
Peter arrived at his apartment, and he was very excited about Sabrina, she had a new hope and she was waiting for him now...
