The 7-11 Where I Was Taught: A Tre Cool Story!, chapter 2

I stood behind the counter in the 7-11 waiting eagerly for Tre to come through the doors. An old woman, a family and some young boys came to my counter but no Tre.
He always came in!

I texted him quickly, "hey Tre u coming in today? x" and waited for a reply.
My phone buzzed and I read the message he sent me. "Hey, don't worry i haven't forgotten about you! Im in the city. love Tre x"
I was interupted by another customer soon.

When I got home I crept through the front door as not to wake my mom who was hungover (again). I ran up to my room and closed the door quietly. I lay on my bed staring at the ceiling. I soon feel asleep.

I woke up a couple of hours later to find I was late for my second shift at the 7-11.
"Damn it!" I shouted and ran downstairs.
I sprinted down the street and finally reached the 7-11 and there it was!
The Green Van! I ran through the door and to my counter.
"Boo!" said a voice behind me and I span round to see Tre!
"Hey!" I said happily.
"Listen I've got a question for you..." He said smiling, "how about dinner tonight at this cool little place I know?"
"Sure!" I said and he paid for his things and left.

That night I met Tre at "Rudy's Can't Fail Cafe" for dinner.
"Hey," he said kissing me.

We went in and ordered. We sat and chatted about everything possible at that restaurant. Then two men came over and Tre asked to be excused so he could talk to them. I let him and waited for him to return. When he did return he didn't sit down.

"Tre what's wrong?" I asked worriedly.
He bent on one knee and reached into his pocket, his eyes fixated on mine. His beautiful blue eyes delved into my soul that night. He took out a small red velvet box and opened it. Inside was the most beautiful ring I had ever seen.

"Cassie, this may come as a shock...or maybe you were expecting it all along...but all I know is that I love you more than anything, and I want to spent the rest of my life with you..." He paused, "Cassie, will you marry me?"

The whole universe stopped and then it all rushed to me. I hesitated then I said the ultimate answer to the question, "Yes!"
