Loser. Weirdo. Faggot., chapter 6

He paced back and forth in front of Tre's house. This WAS the right address, wasn't it? He took out a cigarette, but crushed it under his feet when Tre came outside, waving at him.

"I thought the basil would have thrown you off of smoking for a little while." Billie looked up.

Tre's hair was spiked every which way, but was covered up with a backwards baseball cap, so only the front pieces of hair made it through. He shrugged at him, and they began to walk down the street together. Billie seemed distant towards Tre.

"So, What'cha wanna do?" He asked, looking at the ground. That odd smile popped up on Tre's face.

"Let's go see Mike!" He yelled, running in circles around Billie. He looked back at him, surprised, but grateful. It was too awkward with just him and Tre.

They walked over to Mike's house. Billie felt a bit looser, and was talking to Tre like a person now. Carrying on an actual conversation with the guy. Tre rang the doorbell. Mike, as usual, answered the door. His parents were never home.

"Hey Bill what's up?" He asked, leaning on the door frame.

Billie stopped laughing from Tre chasing a squirrel that had run across the street.

"Oh, hey man. Mind if we come in for a while?" Tre scampered inside. It was quiet and small inside Mike's house. There was a faint smell of pot coming from the living room, but no one really minded. Billie sat down on the couch. Next to Tre.

"So, what brings you guys to the neighborhood? I haven't seen you two lovebirds in years." Mike laughed. He always cracked himself up. Tre put his hand on Billie's, causing him to jump. He smiled.

"Oh you know, me and Tre just were bored and decided to stop by." Billie paused a few times in his sentence. He was clearly nervous.

Mike shrugged.

"No skin off my back." He turned on the T.V., but walked out of the room. Everything seemed to go silent. Billie moved his hand out underneath from Tre's. Mike came back into the room, eating a sandwich.

"Sorry guys," He muttered. "First thing I've had to eat all day."

About two hours later Mike left. The refrigerator was running low on food, and he was getting hungry again. Billie volunteered to go with Mike, but he urged him to stay with Tre. Surprisingly, Billie didn't feel as awkward with Tre, and began talking to him again. Or it could have been the fact that they were all sky high. It was all the same to Billie.

"Tre, What cha thinking about?" Billie asked after some T.V. show with pretty colors they were watching was over.

"Pot." He answered bluntly, but to them it was the funniest fucking thing in existence. After the laughing fit was over. Billie asked again. He wanted to know what he was really thinking about.

Tre was closer to him now. Inches away form Billie's face. And that's when it happened. Out of no where, Tre planted a hard kiss on Billie's lips. He fell off the couch, staring at Tre.

"What the hell was that, god damnit?!" Tre looked at him sideways, the way a dog does when he doesn't get it.

"A kiss." Blatant statement. But Billie felt the inside of him boil over. Tre was too wild. He always seemed to be taking things to the next level. A kiss was too much for Billie. Tre was too much for Billie. He felt enraged. Not so much because Tre had kissed him, but more along the lines that he had LIKED it.
