The Best, Yet Worst Summer Ever, chapter 1
It was just like any other day for Dani Frensic. She woke up in her room, which was covered in all sorts of pictures of her favourite bands and had clothes scattered on the floor.
She had dyed black hair that always covered her face and she had snakebite and an eyebrow piercing. She was only 17 and about to start grade 12 in the fall.
She opened her blue eyes, and then closed them again. Her head was killing. She had gotten drunk at the party she had gone to the night before. Then she got up but noticed that her clothes were gone and she was naked. She turned around and sure enough, in her bed was a guy, just as naked as her.
"OH SHIT!" She yelled. She must have gotten SO drunk that she blacked out having brought the guy to her place and slept with him. And to make matters worse, her parents were coming home from Alabama TODAY!
She grabbed some random clothes on the floor and poked the guy and he jumped up instantly. He saw Dani and calmed himself and simply said "Had fun last night?"
Dani slapped him the face. "Who are you?! And what happened last night?!"
"I am Jake. We made magic last night. Don't you remember? Haha, maybe I should remind you..." Then he went in for a kissed but Dani backed away.
"Get the fuck out of here! NOW!!!" She screamed and he quickly got out of her bed and dressed himself and ran out of the house as fast as he could in fear of being slapped again... or worse.
Dani made her bed and laid down in it. If her parents found out about the party and her sleeping with a guy (and possibly getting pregnant...) she was dead. Her parents promised her tickets to see her all time favourite band, Green Day, if she took care of the house and did her chores by the time they got back from Alabama. Currently, the house was a total wreck.
She got up and picked up all of her dirty clothes and put them in the washer. Then she cleaned the rest of the house. By the time she was finished it was 2:30 pm. Her parents should be home soon. The ride from plane ride from Alabama to Toronto was about 4 hours and she woke up at 10:00 am. She decided to sit down and watch television until they arrived.
At 3:00 pm they arrived home. "Well, things look good around here. What have you been you to while we were gone, Dani?" Her father asked.
Dani hesitated for a moment, and then replied "Just hangin' around the house and stuff."
"Oh really, what stuff?" He said in a suspicious tone.
"Um, just cleaning and practising guitar, you know, stuff like that."
"Oh, alright then." He ended the conversation.
Then, her mother entered the room and said, "Well then, I guess we owe you those Green Day tickets now do we?" She said with a little sarcasm.
"You sure do!" Dani said excitedly.
"Well, we would've gotten home had it not been for the stop at the ticketmaster." Her father said and pulled out two tickets out of his pocket. "You sure made it worth the stop."
"Oh my God! You got them! Thank you! Thank you! THANK YOU!!!" Dani screamed in happiness.
"So, who are you bringing with you?" Dani's mother asked.
"I don't know yet... I'll ask Jill or somebody..." Jill was Dani's best friend and she loved Green Day too.
