Oakland School, chapter 8
So, as we all sped to the mall, well, I sped. When we got there, I said I had to take a pill. It made me really hyper.
"Ok, so where are we going first? I'm so excited, I have never been to a Californian mall before. When do we get to the store? Im so happy." I said really, really fast.
"Umm...slow down," Kristen said.
A half hour later, it wore off, and again, I had to take another pill. It made me all freaked out and stuff.
"Oh my god, look at all the demons! Aaaaaaah!" I screamed. Adie and the rest of the girls gave me a weird look.
A half hour later it wore off and we were at the food court. We didn't shop anywhere because they didn't want to shop with me acting like that. So we were all talking, and then Adie asked, "So Maria, what were you and Jack up to last night?"
"Oh, well nothing," she answered back.
"Was it that bad?" I asked.
"Terrible," she said. "I mean, he was said he was not a virgin, but he was terrible!"
"You slut! He sucked!" Adie said.
"Who sucked?" I heard a familiar voice from behind me say. I turned and to my surprise, it was Tre, Jack, and the rest of those guys.
"Umm...well the person who gave us this drink sucked at making it?" I said. "So now, we are going to complain, c'mon girls." I said.
We hurried off. So Maria was so embarrased infront of Jack. We entered this store. Pretty slutty, nothing people back home would wear.
"Oh, look, this would look great on you Sam!" Sarah said, showing this red slutty langerie thing.
"Umm...where is the rest of it?" They laughed.
"So, are you going to graduate Sam?" Adie asked.
"Umm...yeah, but not here. I'm moving back to Pittsburgh next year, so I can graduate. And then I'm going to go to this college, CMU, it's supposed to be 'sophisticated' or whatever. Then I'm joining the airforce. I know, weird," I said.
"Awww...what is the point of only moving here for one year?" Kristen asked.
"Well, this was the only school that would accept me. I got kicked out the others," I said.
"Oh."
"Well, why do you like AC/DC so much? Why not the Ramones?" Adie asked.
"Well, they are ok, but I'm a heavy metal fan. And besides, I have to show support for my uncles. Woops," I said.
"AC/DC are your uncles?" Adie said.
"Umm...yes?"
"Holy shit!"
"Oh, Billie is gonna ask you to join their band. They just renamed it to, 'Green Day'. They think you're good," Adie said.
"I don't think so, I'm not a spotlight grubber. I'm already tied up with my job I have now," I said.
"What is that?" They asked.
"Well, I'm a...I'm a..."
