Swapped Identity, chapter 6
Tre's POV
Billie finally told Mike about our little situation but I can't believe he didn't believe us! He had obviously thought it was a joke because now he is listening to his iPod like nothing has happened.
"Mike?" I said. He didn't hear me. "Mike?" I said again, slightly louder. "MIKE?" I shouted, whilst shaking his shoulder. He finally looked up.
"What?" He said.
"You know what...Tre...said earlier?" I asked
"What about you being him and him being you?"
"Yeah, that."
"What about it?"
"Well, you didnt believe it, did you?" I said although I already knew the answer.
"No of course I didn't," he said shocked that I had asked him.
"Why not?"
"Billie, its a load of Bullshit! plus it was Tre that said it."
"Well what if I told you that he wasn't lying and that I am actually Tre?"
"What the fuck are you talking about?"
"What Tre, well, actually what Billie said earlier was true. I am Tre and he is Billie." Mike was stunned "Honestly," I added
"You serious?" Mike asked, not entirely sure what he should say in a time like this.
"Yes Mike. I swear to God I'm telling the truth." Mike didn't do or say anything for the rest of the journey.
Mike's POV.
Was Billie serious? or was it Tre? well if this is true, then yeah, that would have been Tre. Oh my God! This is so confusing. It would explain why Billie was so hyper and why Tre was, well, normal. Ok, so say they were telling the truth, how come they didn't cancel the tour? They're not going to be able to do their parts, I mean sure Billie can play a little drums and Tre is ok at guitar, but they'll never be able to pull it off, or will they? Oh I dont know. Maybe they've got it all figured out or maybe it is just a cruel joke! I'll think about this later. I'm going catch some sleep.
Billie's POV.
Tre spoke to Mike he obviously did a better job than me because it looks like he believed him. He hasn't said or done anything for a while, not even listened to his iPod. He's probably just thinking it over. It looks like he's asleep now! I think I'll try get some shut-eye but first I have to make sure Tre has absolutely no pens. I am not going wake up with a french moustache and over sized eyebrows!
