Swapped Identity, chapter 7
At the hotel.
Mikes POV.
I wasn't sure what to make of all this. could Billie and Tre really be telling the truth? Tre does this sort of thing all the time just to play tricks on people but Billie is supposed to be sensible! I dont know what I should think. But if this is true, then the first person Billie would have told would have been Adrienne.
Thats it. I'll call Adrienne. I looked around to make sure Billie and Tre were still gone becuase if this was just a joke then they will never let me live it down! so, after making sure that they were gone, I picked up my cell phone and called Billie's house.
"Hello?" Jakob answered.
"Hi Jake, could I talk to your mom for a second please?"
"Yeah, sure. MOM!"
"Hello?"
"Hi, Adrienne?"
"Yeah?"
"Erm, has Billie told you anthing interesting lately?"
"What do you mean?"
"Well Billie and Tre told me this crazy story that they both swapped...bodies and I dont know whether or not I should believe them."
"Ah, well yeah its true." I couldn't believe this. Did she just say that it was true? "It happened yesterday morning," Adrienne carried on, "they woke up and realised that they were in each others bodies."
"Oh my God i can't believe this is acturely happening!"
"Yeah, so have they figured out how they're gonna play yet do you know?"
"Err no, I dont think so."
"Oh, ok. I've got to go now. The kids want dinner. Bye!"
"See ya."
Wait, did she say dinner? It's 9:30 am, I thought as I glanced over at the clock above the TV. Oh yeah, the time change. I forgot! Well I guess I better speak to Billie and Tre when they get back.
Billies POV.
Me and Tre went out to the 'Hen and Fox.' It was a pub across the street from the hotel. Ha Ha! Pub! thats a funny word! pub!
"Hey Tre! ever notice how funny the word pub is!?"
"What?" Said Tre.
"Pub!" I started laughing.
"Pub, pub, pub, pub, pub, pub, pub, pub, pub, pub, pub, pub!"
"Dude, are you high?"
"Yeah, a little," I said whilst getting dizzy.
"Oooh whatever you've had give me some!"
"NO!" I shouted.
"Awww come on. Please!"
"NO!" I shouted even louder. He started chasing me around the pub. Hey there's that word again, which was easier said than done! You try running in someone else's body who is 4 times bigger than you! I started screaming like a little girl, which made the manager come out.
"HEY, YOU TWO!" He shouted at us. Oh no!
"GET OUT OF MY PUB! I NEVER WANT TO SEE YOU IN HERE AGAIN!"
"Way to go Tre!" I said as we left.
"Me? You should have given me some, then I wouldn't have chased you. Plus, it was you that screamed!"
We didnt say anything until we got back to the hotel.
