The Chosen One, chapter 4
*Morning*
"Is he okay?" Mike asked.
"He's fine," Quicksilver said. "The surge of energy overwhelmed him."
"What energy surge?" Mike asked. Quicksilver told him what had happened the night before.
"Cool! Billie has superpowers now!" Tre said gleefully.
"They're not superpowers," Justine said.
"What are they, then?" Tre asked. Before Justine had a chance to answer, Snow Star walked in.
"How is he?" she asked.
"Unconcious. The power surge overwhelmed him," Justine stated. Then, Billie stirred.
"What happened?" he asked.
"You recieved Cameron's powers." Justine said.
"So that's what that energy surge was," Billie said.
"Are you up to walking?" Snow Star asked.
Billie thought a moment, then nodded.
"Good. Follow me, then. All of you," Snow Star ordered. She led them to another cavern. This one was the bigger than the others. There was a single dragon waiting for them. It was covered in teal and purple scales. It had dark purple eyes and white horns. Its wings were similar to those of a butterfly.
"I am Aurora, Guardian of Hope," the dragon said.
"Aurora will help you during your journey." Snow Star explained. "She knows every knook and cranny there is in Draecona."
"Journey? No one said anything about a journey!" Billie exclaimed.
Justine snickered. "You didn't think that Onyx was going to come to you, did you?" she asked.
"Yes, you must journey to Onyx's castle," Snow Star said. "Aurora will accompany you, along with Justine and one of your friends."
"Only one?!" Billie asked. He thought for a moment. Tre and Mike were his best friends, so it was hard to decide which one would come with him. After a few moments, he made his decision.
"Mike, you wanna come with me?" he asked. Mike nodded.
"What about me?" Tre whined.
"You can go home and tell our families what happened to us," Billie said.
"Then its decided!" Snow Star said. "Billie, Justine, Aurora, and Mike will leave tomorrow. Tre, you can leave whenever you're ready."
"Can I leave know?" Tre said. Snow Star nodded, then allowed Tre to say good-bye to everyone. Then, Justine transported him back home.
"I suggest the rest of you begin to prepare for your journey," Snow Star said, then she left the room.
