Whats's My Age Again?, chapter 7
Mike was pretty happy when he came home that day. He wanted to tell someone how much fun he had had with Lory, but he didn´t know whom to tell.
Usually he would tell Billie Joe and Tre, but somehow he wasn´t sure about it.
He felt like keeping it a secret for some time.
So he didn´t mention anything to the others when he saw them at school.
But it seemed like he wasn´t the only one having a secret.
Billie Joe, who had always, yeah, always, picked them up after school said he couldn´t do it today.
"Why?" Mike asked him curiously.
"My mum sends me to the doctor now." Billie Joe said in funny despair. "I don´t want to go... but you know my mum."
Mike nodded. He knew Billie Joe´s mum. She always was very strict with the health thing.
"Okay, then we´ll take the bus.." he said then.
Tre nodded.
"Have fun there, Billie!" he laughed at him.
Billie Joe pouted.
"I won´t have fun!"
So Tre and Mike took the bus. It had been quite some time since they had used the bus and they remembered how hot and uncomfortable it was.
"I wanna drive home in my car!" Mike grouched and Tre agreed.
"Shut up!" a man next to them said. "You´re annoying the other people here."
Mike sighed. Why had Billie Joe to go to the doctor now?!
Later that day Tre went Lory back to her house.
"It was a great day, Tre!" she smiled when they reached the door.
She remembered the foot race through the shopping mall and spiting from the bridge, laughing at that thought.
"Thank you." Tre said, bowing. "I´m the best day - planner ever."
She giggled.
"And a big-headed one, huh?" she joked.
"Oh, no. I´m just saying the truth." Tre retorted.
He jumped suprisingly.
"Sorry, I can´t stand here doing nothing." he said.
He had had about 7 kilos of candies today and had his head in the clouds a bit.
"Be sure to eat no candy for a week." Lory adviced him before she opened her front door.
"I promise I won´t." he said, bowing again.
"OKay then." Lory said and placed a little kiss on his cheek.
"See you." she said and closed the door behind her, leaving Tre with this suprise.
