Life as a teenage rocker, chapter 5
Chapter 5
That Weekend, Roxy and Willow's families held a joint barbeque, and invited all their family and close friends that could come. Only one of Roxy's families could come, as they were the only ones who lived in America.
One of Willow's aunty and Uncle had a daughter who was a complete and total chav.
Her light mouse-brown hair was tied up in pony, and parts of her hair were gelled down to her head. Big sunglasses framed her hazel eyes and she had massive hoops in her ears. She was wearing a tight fitted halter top with a short denim skirts and trainers. She was 16 and her name was Hannah, but she told everyone to call her Hunni.
She sneered at Roxy and Willow as they came to greet her parents. They were still in their Saturday clothes, which they still needed to change out of.
"Awww," said Hannah's mom, Lily. "My baby's all grown up!" (This made Roxy feel quite sick.) She hugged Willow then stood back to study her. Then her eyes found Roxy who was standing right near them, "and who is this pretty young lady?" She asked.
"Oh this is my best friend Roxy Green." Said Willow smiling.
"Well, that's nice." Lily said after hugging Roxy, she smiled and turned back to talk to all the adults.

Willow and Roxy headed back to their houses. As they stopped outside Roxy front door Willow said.
"I hate my cousin... to think I'm related to her just...eww."
"I know, did you see the look she gave me. She sucks big time."
"Yeah. Anyways im gonna get changed then I'll come by your room ok," Willow said.
"K."
Walking straight to her room Willow went to her wardrobe, and took out a purple, puffy skirt, (she never usually wore skirts though.) Then she found her new black top, with a purple stripe on it, and her fish net tights.
She quickly grabbed her eyeliner and climbed into Roxy's room.
Roxy was just putting on a pair of socks. She was wearing a florescent green t-shirt, with a guitar design on it. Black combats that came just below her knees and black and pink stripy socks pulled up high. She also had green tips with pink highlights in her hair.
When they returned to the barbeque Roxy went over to her dad, and Willow's dad, (who were doing the barbeque,) and looked at all the food. Traditionally Alex forgot the veggie burgers. (As Roxy was a vegetarian.) which sent Roxy into quite a tantrum.
"DAD!" She screamed.
"Yes princess?"
"YOU DIDN'T GET THE VEGGIE BURGERS! FOR GOODNESS SAKE DAD, YOU DO THIS EVRY TIME! I HATE YOU!"
"Erm... " Said her dad looking for a way out of this, but Roxy wasn't listening, but instead started running around the garden screaming and kicking flowerpots over, while nearly everyone in the garden was watching.
"Adam?" Asked Willow, "Aren't you gonna do something?"
"DAD, you are SUCH an IDIOT...WHY...WHY!"
Roxy's dad was just about to something when Adam dropped Bridget off his back, and went over to Roxy.
"Hey Roxy dude, calm down, your overreacting," he said.
"Overreacting, OVERREACTING, I AM NOT FLIPPING OVERREACTING, you're overreacting thinking that I'm overrea-" Roxy's words were cut short as Adam picked her up but the middle and slung her over his back, leading her into the house, while she was punching his back, screaming at him and kicking her legs around in the air.
When they were both inside the house, Willow laughed nervously
"Uh, carry on guys." Then she walked inside the house rolling her eyes.
When she reached the kitchen she saw them in there.
"See. Now put that one on the stick," She heard Adam say, who was sitting on the counter. Roxy was standing next to him carefully placing fruits and things onto cocktail sticks with bits of chocolate in between them.
Willow stood by the doorway looking at them, trying not to laugh at the way Roxy stuck her tongue out when she was concentrating.
When Roxy had finished, she was much happier, and had a big grin on her face, like she had just learnt to ride a bike.
"Yay. Thanks Adam, you're like...the best...after me of course!" Roxy said giving him a hug and ruffling his hair up. Then she wrapped the cocktails into foil and walked out to the garden, trying her hardest not to drop them, (but failed and dropped 3 on the way out to the garden.)
Willow walked into the kitchen and sat next to Adam on the counter.
"We haven't talked properly for ages," Willow said to him
"I know. We ALWAYS used to when we were younger."
"Yeah, That was fun" Willow said sighing, and thinking back to all the games and things that they done when they were younger. "Who are you going out with at the moment anyways?"
"Um..." Adam said, "Oh yeah Lauren!"
"What the 22 year old one that lives down the street?" Asked Willow shocked.
"Yup, that one." Said Adam waggling his eyebrows, while Willow laughed.
They carried on talking for quite a while just catching up on things, like they used to do.

"Daddy," Bridget whined, a while later, after all the guests had gone home.
"Yes angel?" he replied
"Tell me the news NOW or I'm going to scream really, really loud."
"I strongly advise you not to do that," Willow said threateningly, as she didn't really like kids around 5 or 6 (around that age. She thought they were evil.)
"I do advise you to that, so I can join in!" Said Roxy happily, lying on the grass.
"I advise that we all shut up," Said Sharon half joking, half serious, rubbing her head tiredly. Finally everyone stopped talking.
"Right guys," said Zack trying to be cool, (which really wasn't working.) "We thought about what you two girls said about moving, and we decided it would be a good idea to get used to something else... so is that ok with everyone?"
"OK?!? THAT'S BRILLIANT!" Exclaimed Roxy giving Bridget a piggyback into the house, singing really loud, and pretty bad too.
"So anyways, when are going to move?" Willow asked.
"Hopefully in two weeks, when the people living in the two houses have moved out and everything."
"This is SO cool!" said Willow jumping up to join in with Roxy and Bridget.
