Life as a teenage rocker, chapter 8
Chapter 8
Willow and Roxy were heading to their last lesson of the day, Art. They both hated art, as they were really rubbish at it. It seemed like they were early as no one else was in the classroom yet. The teacher came outside and Willow felt her face growing hot. He had shoulder length black hair that was tied up in a pony and deep blue eyes. He had his upper ear pierced with a gothic cuff. When he came out of the classroom he smiled. Willow noticed he had a really good smile. He was say about early 20's.
He turned to face Roxy and Willow, and the rest of the class, and when he saw Willow their eyes locked for quite a while. He blinked a few times.
"Right, come on in guys," He said smiling. He had a totally British accent. Roxy and Willow dumped their bags at the front of the classroom, since everyone had barged past them taking all the back seats.
"Well as I'm sure you all know we have 2 new girls in out class. Sooo would you two like to come up and introduce yourself, oh and I'm Mr. Sterling by the way."
Roxy and Willow had been asked to do this by all their teachers so they were pretty used to it by now. After they were finished a few people smiled, which wasn't so bad.
Mr. Sterling asked them to draw a still life drawing of whatever they wanted. Willow chose to draw a stack of CD's and a radio/CD player, while Roxy chose to draw all these farm animals sharing the same bit of grass except the animals were all green and pink.
"Oh my gosh, how comes yours is so good?" Roxy asked Willow worriedly, looking at Willow's work, which was indeed much better than her own, as her own looked like...it was original. Actually Willow's work looked almost perfect
"Ummm I dunno," said Willow shrugging, "I just started drawing and. Voila. It turned out okay."
"I hate you," Roxy said resting her hand on her cheek, (like she was sulking), but she accidentally got blue paint all over her cheek.
"Yes, and I love you too!" Said Willow not even glancing up.
"NO! I said I-" she started, but didn't get to finish her sentence as Mr Sterling appeared in front of them.
"Willow," he said. Willow's eyes went wide and she dropped her paintbrush, which hit Roxy's work and made it look even worse. Roxy growled in anger but Willow didn't even notice.
"Yeah?" She said softly.
"Your work...this is really good!" He said. Willow looked shocked, but it was nothing compared to Roxy face.
"I DON'T BELIEVE THIS...I DON'T BELIEVE IT. WE ARE BOTH SUPPOSE TO BE RUBBISH, NOW YOU'RE SUDDENLY THE BEST IN THE CLASS...I DON'T BELIEVE IT!" By this time, the whole class was staring at her.
"Hey Roxy," Said Mr. S, "you could be good too you know, you just need to apply yourself, like Willow's done."
"Yeah... " Roxy mumbled glaring at Mr S
"Anyway, Willow this deserves to go up somewhere on our wall, what do you say?"
"Yeah cool."
"OK then, it's done." Willow smiled, while Roxy mimicked vomiting behind her back.

"He is SO hot!" Exclaimed Willow as she and Roxy were walking home.
"He really isn't, plus he's, how old?"
"I would say about early 20's you know, which would only make it about...6 or 7 years difference, besides we are gonna be 16 soon anyways! Oh my gosh Roxy, it's like when I look at him, I get this feeling like-"
"Enough already, you're driving me crazy woman!" Roxy said snapping at Willow angrily.
"Okay, your highness. Sorry," Willow said. Roxy nodded, and tried to make Willow bow down for her, which didn't work.
***
"Come to my house, we are ALWAYS at yours," said Roxy.
"Fine, come on then," Willow said. They both walked on until Roxy accidentally bumped into someone.
"Sorry dude," she muttered, not looking up, and carried on walking, but Willow, who saw who it was, was frozen to the ground.
"Willow, what's up? COME ON YOU WENCH!" Said Roxy, then she heard a laugh from behind her which defiantly wasn't Willow's. Roxy spun round only to become face-to-face with Tre Cool, and Mike Dirnt.
"Oh," was the only word Roxy managed to say.
"Hi sexy, you happen to have bumped into me," said Tre happily.
"Uh...yeah sorry about that..." Roxy said trailing off.
"Weeel I guess I could forgive you, depending on...oh I dunno...who's your favourite bad I guess!" He said proudly putting his hands on his waist.
"Destiny's Child!" Roxy said. Tre and Mike gave looks of disgust, and looked very indignant indeed.
"No chill, I was joking. You guys rock. I mean, if you saw all the posters on my wall you would be li-" Willow cut Roxy off, by stepping on her foot and shooting her warning glances.
Suddenly Mike spoke up.
"Hey are you the two girls who live next door to the Armstrong's?"
"Yeah, has he mentioned us or something?" Asked Willow, who had plucked up the courage to speak.
"Yeah, he has actually. Uh...Roxy and Willow right?"
"That's us, well I'm Roxy and she's Willow," she said getting rather exited.
"Coolio," said Tre, "do you wanna come in, Billie and Adrienne don't mind?"
"Yeah cool!" They exclaimed together.
