She went to look but again she just saw the shadow. The shadow went up the stairs, so she followed, her heart was racing faster than a jet.
She cautiously went up the stairs one at a time trying to be as quite as she could. When she reached the top of the stairs the mysterious shadow was nowhere to be seen or so she thought. Just before she took another step someone from behind sharply pushed a butchers knife into her spine, she let out a loud ear piercing scream, it echoed in the surrounding hills it was so loud the birds that where perched on tree all few away but no one herd.
A shocked expression froze on her face, the man that had stabbed her twisted the knife around cracking every bone in her spine, blood drained from her body like a tap turning her white dress red, her face went pale as the blood drained every last drop from her body. The mans hands where covered in blood, he withdrew the knife from her spine. She collapsed onto the top of the stairs into a puddle of her own blood. A terrified expression frozen on her face. The man laughed at the sight of her body, he wiped the blood off the knife on his black cloak, then used the knife to cut out a chunk of her hair her stuffed in his pocket, and just walked away laughing.
