You Like Us, Then You Don't, Then You Do Again, chapter 4
*Normal POV*
It's Jake, Zoeii's boyfriend.
"What the hell were you doing with my girlfriend? What the hell are you, of all people, doing here in the first place?" yells Jake.
"What does it look like I was doing? And I have known Zoeii for three years!"retorts Billie Joe.
"So this has been going on for three years, without me knowing?" said Jake, now getting all up in Billie's face.
"No! We just...ummm....well...."
"We got into an argument and split apart and Charlene, it was her idea, decided to go to Mike's cafe and she brought them back," finished Zoeii.
"That still doesn't explain why you were making out with him!"
"It just...kind of, happened." Zoeii looked away because she could see a tear welling up in Jake's eye.
"What....what did I do wrong? What made you go and, what it seems like, like someone else better? I know that you've had a thing for him for years but...that just wasn't in reality...I mean...he's married for Christ's sake!!" with that, he slowly turned away and left.
*Billie's POV*
Should I apologize? What should I do? She's just sitting there. I guess she's trying to register what happened. I need to do something. "I'm sorry, this is all my fault."
"No it isn't, it's my fault too. I kind of wanted to kiss you...and now you know that I kind of had a thing for you since Jake said stuff about it." She said, with tears in her eyes.
*Normal POV*
Billie Joe moved over and held Zoeii to comfort her. Once she stopped crying, they sat and talked about what had just happened. It just was a little too much for the both of them, all at once. The conversation ended with an akward silence that lasted for about 2 hours. The silence was broken with a drunk Mike, Tre, and Charlene stumbling throught the door.
"That...was...some...good...beer!" Charlene slurred.
"Tre!!...Where...is that...sexy beast?" said Mike, slurring his words
"Hemberflaberghasteredstherewsw....SEXY!!" slurred Tre just before they made an attempt to go to a bed, but all passed out dead in their tracks before they got there. Zoeii and Billie just sit there staring for a moment before they start bursting into laughter. They eventually get bored and turn on the TV and start watching some show on FUSE. Adrienne is talking.
"He's missing, all three of them. they've been kidnapped!!!" she "sobbed", you could tell that she was faking. "They just went out to the cafe and..and they didn't come back!" Billie Joe shut off the TV.
"Uh,oh..."
"That is odd, she thinks that Charlene kidnapped us, that worry wart."
"No offense, but I think that she's a little overprotective."
"She can be at times."
"Ok, you should call her."
"Yea, I should." Billie goes and calls Adie. She doesn't pick up. He tries again. Still, no answer. He tries 2 more times and finally just gives up. "She won't pick up her fucking phone."
"She might be asleep, you know, its 1:30 AM."
"Yea, we should get some sleep, I can't drag them home. Can I stay here?"
"Sure. Um, you can sleep in my bed if you want and I'll sleep in Char's. No telling what she's done in there."
"Alright....ummm...well...goodnight."
"Goodnight Billie Joe." With that they both disappeared into their rooms.
The Next Morning
*Zoeii's POV*
I smell something burning, it must be Tre trying to make toast.
Man is it hot in here...I'd better go and see what's going on.
Oh Shit!!!
