I Traveled Through Time To Meet Billie Joe, chapter 6

"Come on. Here, take my blouse. You have to sleep in something."
"Of course. Thanks." I didn't really like the blouse. It even smelled of some strange perfume. But in the end I put it on.
"Do you know where Billie is?" I asked her.
"He must be somewhere out here. I donno."
"Hmm." I opened the door and I left the room.

Out in the hall I meet Charlie.
"Wow I see you 'met' Berry's clothes."
"Yeah sure. Where's Billie?"
"In the kitchen."
"Okay thanks."
"Oh..nobody wants to talk to me," he said, joking.

I smiled and I kept on walking.
"Hey Billie, I finally I found you!"
First he looked at me strangely and than laughed.
"Hey don't laugh at my blouse. Come on Billie, stop," I said because he wouldn't stop laughing.
"Billie stop," said Ollie.
"Thanks god somebody's normal."
"Hi I'm Linda," said a lady, probably Charlie's mom.
"I'm Fay. Nice house."
"Oh thank you." Linda didn't look like Charlie or Berry. She had long straight hair and her face was oval.
"Billie come with me," I said and I grabbed his hand.
"Where?"
"I gotta talk to you."

We reached the garden. Leaves were falling from the trees. The first sign that autumn was coming. The sky was almost red and suddenly the wind started to blow.
"Billie I gotta ask you some questions."
"Okay."
"What's up with Berry? She's so strange!"
"Who? Who's Berry?"
"You don't know Charlie's sister?"
"Charlie has a sister? Get out of here."
"What? She told me you were her boyfriend or something like that."
"Wait a minute. What's happening here. Charlie has a sister and I don't know? And I've been the lover of this 'girl'?"
"If you don't know her than who's the girl I'm going to sleep with?" I tried to be funny.
"His mom."
"Come'on Billie."

At that moment Berry came.
"Here you are Fay. I looked for you everywhere. I have to show you my skirts."
"Oh no. Billie please save me."
"Oh my god! Bobby! What happened to you, dude?" Billie asked Berry.
"Billie. Shut up!" Berry said.
"What's going on here?" I asked.

Billie was so surprised that he barely could talk. A few moments later Charlie came too.
"Aha. So here you are. What are you doing without me?"
"Hey guys could you please tell me what's wrong?"
"Fay I think we should go now," Berry said.
"Why?" I asked irritated.
"Cuz they are boys and we're girls. You must spend time with me," Berry said, trying to take me out of there.
"What are you? A three year old girl or what? Billie..." I said hoping that Billie will save me from the monster's claws.
"Berry what did you tell?" Charlie asked.

All this time Billie was still laughing and I couldn't understand why.
"Hey what's going on?"
All three were looking straight at each other like they had something really bad to tell me.
"Well, Fay," Charlie said, rolling his eyes when he saw Berry looking at him.
"You know Berry.."
"Of course I know Berry." Stupid kid I'd say.
"She's a boy. In fact, I have no sister. He's my brother and his name is Bobby."

Then, Berry, I mean Bobby looked at me with a silly face.
"And if that creature is a boy then how can you explain all the dresses, the perfume and the pink bed. And more: how do you explain Billie having a crush on him?"
"It's simple," Billie said. "The bed and all those things are really his. But he lied about us," He said and headed to him then he put his hand over Bobby's neck and said, "Ain't it like that, pal?"
Bobby smiled.
"I hope you won't be mad with me, Fay."
"Don't worry. I understand now. You're gay and you like dressing up like girls."
"Here's the smart one," Charlie joked.
"Hey you still have to sleep with me in my bed," Bobby said and winked.
We all laugh.
"Does your mom know about him?"
"Of course. He and mom go shopping every weekend."
"Did you know about this Billie?"
"Well I knew he's gay but I didn't know he's dressing like a girl. It's been almost three months since I last saw them."
While he was talking it started to rain.
"Oh damned!" We all said.

By the time we entered the house we were all soaked to the skin.
"Oh great. I'll have to change again," I said and then I saw Bobby making a stupid face. Just like he had dirty thoughts.
"So, you want a blue T-shirt or a yellow one?" He said and took my hand.
"I guess you'll have to let me borrow some clothes," Billie told Charlie.
"No problem dude. Let's go."

That night I slept with Bobby. I fell asleep late cuz of his snoring. You wouldn't say he's a girl anymore. "Saint God I'm staying here only for a night," I said and then I fall asleep.

By the morning the ground was all mud and the garden was a mess. When I woke up Bobby wasn't in the bed. I went downstairs and I found them having breakfast. Bobby wasn't dressed like a girl anymore. In fact he was really cute.
"Hey you're eating without me?" I said trying to be like Charlie and I saw Billie smiling.
"Good morning," said a voice behind me. I turned my head and I saw Linda.
"Good morning. Wow, nice breakfast."
"Here's yours."
"Yammy. You're so sweet Linda. Can I call you Linda?"
"Of course." She smiled.
"Where's your mom, Billie?
"At work."
"Bobby. If you wanna become a girl some day try not to snore so loud."
"He can't," Charlie said.
"Well guys I have to go to school now," said Bobby.
"School! That's perfect!"
"What?" Billie and Charlie said at the same time.
"Let's go to school. It's been a lot since I last did this."
"You go. We have things to do," Charlie said.
"Come'on guys. I'm bored to death."
"That's a good idea, Fay," Billie said.
"You'll have to go there if you wanna do your work."
"What work?"

Billie and Charlie looked at me. Then Billie came next to me and whispered:
"The joints thing. Remember?"
"No!" I screamed.
Linda heard me and asked me what's wrong.
"Nothing. These boys," I answered.
I thought he forgot about those things, but it wasn't like that.
"Come on," Billie said and took my hand. "Come'on Charlie. Let's go to school."
"So what's the first class?" I asked.
"English. My favorite," Bobby said.
"Oh yeah. He has an A grade report. Lucky he's my brother," Charlie said.
"Lucky. Oh I'm such a jinx!"

We walked for a few minutes while Charlie and Bobby were fighting. When we finally arrived at school we heard the bell ringing.
"Fay you come with us," Billie said.
"I'm not supposed to see the principal or something like that?"
"For what? Are you going to come to school so often?" Charlie said, smiling.
"Stop it Charlie. I'll take you to the principal at lunch."

We reached the classroom and I opened the door. A woman was teaching something:
"So, Mr. Armstrong and Mr. Wordfillie thought they should visit us. Please take a seat." The woman said.
"Mrs. Spenlow this is a friend of mine and she wants to attend your class."
"Well I'm glad to hear that. See if you can find a chair back there."
"Okay," I said and went in the back of the room.
"Mr. Armstrong come here a second." She told him something and gave him a piece of paper than Billie came back to his desk.

The woman then continued talking about I don't know what famous writer. In the end she said we have to do some kind of summary of I don't know what book.
"Pretty boring," I told Billie.
"Hey you wanted it, you have it."
"So what's next?"
"Maths," he said and I made a sad face.
"I hate maths."
"Who doesn't?"

The maths teacher was a male. He was fat and had horrible big glasses. His hair was quite long but it was white. As I entered that room I thought I saw Adrienne.
"That can't be her." I sit down in a desk near Billie's and I whispered:
"Hey who's that girl?" I asked hoping he'll say a different name.
"I don't know. She must be new."
"Great."
"Hey you!" The teacher said.
"Yes?" I said and I stand up.
"What's your name?" The man asked.
"Fay," I replied.
"I don't know you," he said angrily.
"That must be because I'm new."
"Don't you be smart with me! Of course you're new."
"Jackass," I said in my mind.
"What were you talking with your friend about?" He said pointing to Billie
"Aa, I asked him if he could explain to me those exercises."
"Mr. Armstrong?" He said ironically and laughed out loud. "You can aska donkey about maths, but not Armstrong."
"Gee I know he's a rude man." When he smiled he looked just like a pig in heat.
"Excuse me mister but I don't think the same as you!" I said and he stopped laughing and Billie turned around.
"What did you say?" He asked and raised an eyebrow.
"Well I don't think Billie is such a stupid kid as you think. And you shouldn't judge your students. It's rude, ya'know," I said making silly faces.
"Who's this girl?" He asked taking his glasses off.
"She's my friend," said Charlie
"Mine too," said Billie and smiled me.
"Now if you don't mind, can I go and 'solve those things on the blackboard?"
"No!" He said.
"Your friend Mr. Armstrong's going to do it."
"What?" Asked Billie.
"Yes you not so stupid kid."
"Great I fucked up! Again!"
