From No Dad, To Rockstar Dad, chapter 5

The boys walked out in their swimming trunks and t-shirts on. "Take your shirts off," Billie said.
"No," they both said quickly.
"Why not?" I asked confused.
"Um... the sun," Joey said. And Jakob nodded.
"We have sun block," I said pointing to the bottle.
I got out of the pool, walked to get the bottle of sun block, and then walked over to Jakob.
He slowly pulled off his shirt, which he revealed about 10 bruises along the side of his stomach and back area.
"Oh my gosh, sweetie what happened? Billie come look at this," I said examining Jakob.
Billie walked over and examined his son, "Joesph, did you do this to Jakob?" he asked angrily looking at Joey.
"Oh yeah, and I did it to myself too," Joey sarcastically said taking off his shirt also revealing several bruises.
Jakob's eyes started to water, "It was... mom... and Andrew," he said.
Billie's eyed turned red, and he's veins where revealing on his forehead. Uh-oh, he's mad.
"THEY HIT YOU?!" he said.
"Yeah," both boys said in unison.
"Baby, we have to do something about this. I don't want them ever going over there alone, again," I said holding Billie's arm.
"I know," he said hugging both boys.
The boys hugged me. I hugged back kissing their foreheads.

"Okay boys. Ya'll go swim," I said as both boys jumped in the pool.
"You want to go to the hot tub babe?" Billie said wiggling his eyebrows and smiling.
"Yeah," I replied taking his hand.
Me and Billie walked to the hot tub and got in. I sat in between his legs, and his arms where around my sides, while his chin rested on my shoulders.
"I can't believe she did that... I never thought she would," he said.
"I know me neither. It's okay. We'll get this all worked out. If I'm ever in the same room with her I just might kill her," I said a bit angrily.
"And I'll let you," he replied smiling and kissing my cheek.
"When are you going to confront her?" I asked.
"Tomorrow, when the boys are at school. Will you go with me? That way you can stop me if I try and kill Andrew," he replied.
"Of course I'll go," I said.
Me and Billie started making out in the hot tub, until we heard, "Get a room, gross!"
I pulled away and glared at the boys who where laughing. Then Jakob pointed at Joey, "He said it," Jakob said.
I just laughed and so did Billie.
After the boys where done, we went inside and I made them dinner. After me and Billie put the little munchkins to bed, we went to our room.
We had just finished having sex, when Billie got off from the top of me and rested next to me, with his arms tightly around my waist.
I just smiled, and tried to fall asleep, until I heard, "Want to go for lucky number 2?"
It was Billie.
I turned around and kissed his lips, "There's not lucky number 2, there's just lucky number 7," I said laughing.
"Well, we can go for seven if you really want to," he said with a big grin on his face.
I just rolled my eyes, then he kissed my lips.
That's how we fell asleep.
I woke up before Billie, I looked at the clock it was 6:55. Great, I'm on time for once. I had to wake up the boys at seven for school. I laid in bed about 4 minutes until I read the clock that said 6:59. I got up and decided to let Billie sleep in. So I turned off the alarm and pecked Billie's lips softy.
I walked into Joey's room first, I turned the light on and he groaned, "Wake up, Joey."
"Mom, five more minutes!" he pleaded.
"Fine, I'll wake Jakob, then I'll be back," I replied.
"Thank you, turn off the light please," he asked as I switched the light off.
I walked into Jakob's room, and switched on the light, "Wakey Wakey Jakey!" I said.
"One more hour," he replied putting the pillow over his head.
"I don't think so buddy, get up," I said pulling the pillow off his head.
"Okay," he said getting up.
"Here, do me a favor and jump on Joey for me, he doesn't want to get up," I said smiling.
"Cool, so this means if you tell me to do it, I won't get into trouble.?" he asked.
"Right, now go," I said.
Jakob ran out of his room quickly and ran into Joey's.
I waited a second, then I heard, "JAKOB GET OUT OF HERE YOU LITTLE WORM!" it was Joey.
I laughed as Jakob came walking out of Joey's room proudly and high-fiving me.
Then Joey came out, trying not to smile but couldn't keep it in.
The boys got dressed, brushed their teeth, and ate a pop-tart.
"Ya'll want me to drive you?" I asked the boys.
"No, we'll catch the bus mom. Thanks," Joey said sweetly.
"Okay," I said kissing their foreheads. Then they walked out of the house.
I walked back into my bedroom, and crawled underneath the covers trying not wake Billie, but failed.
"Babe, what time is it?" he asked yawning.
"7:45" I replied.
Then he shot up, "Shit, I have to get the boys up," he said.
"They left already. I got them up this morning and gave them breakfast," I said grinning.
He laid back down looking relived and wrapping his arms around me, "Thanks baby," he said kissing me.
"Welcome," I replied.
At about 10:00 me and Billie got our lazy asses out of bed and managed to take a shower. After we were done, we got dressed, and it took us until about 11:30 to be ready. So, I made us some lunch and we ate.
After we where done, Billie looked at his watch, "Let's go to Adie's before she leaves for work," he said.
"What time does she leave it's 12:30?" I asked.
"She leaves for work at like 1:30," he said.
"Okay," I said getting up.
Billie got up, we walked to the car, and got in, then left to Adie's.
We got there in about ten minutes.
Billie got out first, and he opened the door for me.
"Aw, what a gentleman," I said laughing and kissing his cheeks.
He just smiled and took my hand, walked up to the door at knocked.
Adie answered, "Hi Billie... Jewel," she said looking at me.
"We need to talk Adie," Billie said walking in the door.
"Sure. You don't have to be here for this do you?" She asked rudely starring at me.
I just rolled my eyes at her and looked at Billie.
"Yeah, I want her here," he said.
"Okay," she said.
We sat on the couch and then she said, "What do you want to talk about?"
"You and you're bitch ass husband hitting my boys," Billie said rudely.
I just nodded and placed my hand on Billie's.
"Our boys," she said.
"Fine, "our" boys. That doesn't give you any right to hit them the way you have been hitting him Adrienne. Joey and Jakob both have about ten bruises on there bodies. What the fuck is your problem hitting them? Where you fucking out of your mind when you did that?" he asked raising his voice.
"Billie calm down," I said looking at him then I turned to Adie, "he's right. You have no right to hit those boys that way. They haven't done anything wrong."
"FIRST OF ALL, YOU AREN'T GOING TO TELL ME HOW TO BE A MOTHER TO MY BOYS. YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW IT IS TO BE A MOTHER. YOU'RE A CHILD YOURSELF. AND SECOND, ME AND ANDREW WHERE BOTH DRUNK WHEN WE DID THAT," she said yelling at me.
"YOU WHERE DRUNK? YOU WHERE DRINKING? DIDN'T YOU TELL THE COURT YOU STOPPED ALL THAT SHIT? AND NOW YOU'RE DOING IT AROUND THE BOYS, AND HITTING THEM?" I asked yelling back at her.
Billie pulled me away, as I was about to jump at her.
"I'm taking you back to court Adrienne. You aren't ever going to be able to see the boys, EVER! And I'll make sure of that," Billie said.
"Billie don't... .please I love my boys... I'm sorr-" she began.
"Bullshit Adrienne, if you loved those boys you wouldn't be drinking around them. Nevertheless hitting them. Jewel is a better mother than you are! She has never harmed them, she's showed all of her love to them, and they lover her. They probably think of her as their mom, and not you," he said.
Wow, I had no idea Billie would say that. I'm honored. It is true. I love those boys dearly. They know it. I can't believe he just did that though.
I saw Adrienne's heart shatter into a million pieces right then and there. But Billie was right.
Me and Billie left her house. Billie was happy what he did, and as soon as he got home he got his lawyer on the phone and told him the whole thing. They made a court date to see if Billie could take away all of Adrienne's rights.
