We Meet Again (sequel to 'I Dare You...'), chapter 1

Hey everybody. It's me Allie again. The girl that has the 2 different colours of eyes; yeah, that girl. Anyway, you last saw me when I was 22. I am now 34, so are all my best friends, except for Tre. Even though the Green Day trio and me are I don't know how many miles apart, we are still best friends.
After Billie, Mike and Tre left, I graduated my first 4 years of college, and then went on to do another 4 years and I graduated from that. After I had graduated after my 8 years, I became a computer technician and I make a decent amount of money.
So, yeah, I bought a pretty big house out in Oakland, California. (What's weird is I really don't live all that far from Green Day, but we never have any time to see each other) I have been a computer technician for 4 years. I'm not sure why I bought a big house; I can afford it easy, it's just I'm alone and I don't have anyone else to help me take up the space.

If you forgot I was going out with Tre Cool. I say was 'cause Tre broke up with me since he moved. The only reason we split up was because of the distance. We tried to make it work, but it didn't.
Since that last day that I saw them, Tre told me all about how Billie got married to a girl named Adrienne and had 2 boys with her, how Mike got married once, had a little girl, but then broke up with his wife, and how Tre himself had gotten married twice, gotten divorced twice, and had had 2 kids with his 2 ex wives. Tre invited me to both his, Mike's and Billie's weddings, but I couldn't go to any of them because of how busy I was with college. I have so many pictures of Billie's, Mike's, Tre's kids on my computer. They are all so cute.

Tre had to break up with me over the Internet. He used the line 'the distance is breaking us apart' line, but I agreed with him. He was busy a lot and he had a hard time just finding time to write me. But now, I get at least one message from one of the 3 guys.

As for me, I never went out with anyone else since Tre. I have been searching for a guy, but I guess Tre set a high standard and I can't find and guy to meet up to what he was.

Anyway, Tre and me are in the past; we're still really good friends and I'm trying to forget about what we were.

One day while writing Tre at about 10 at night, I was listening to the radio and on the station I was listening to, they were giving away a front row ticket to see Green Day in concert. Once I heard them make that announcement, I stopped typing and picked up the phone, waiting for them to play 'American Idiot.' Once you heard that song, you had to be the 21st caller.
About a half hour later, they played that song and I dialled like crazy. First I was the 3rd caller, then the 15th, then, the 3rd time I called in is when I became the happiest person ever. I was the 21st caller. This is what the conversation was between the DJ and me:

DJ: Hello caller. You're the winner of the front row Green Day ticket.

Me: Are you serious?!

DJ: Yes I am. Oh, and there's more.

Me: There's more?! What more?!

DJ: Well, if you answer this question correctly you get a backstage pass to meet Green Day.

Me: Alright, what's the question?

DJ: Name all the CD's that Green Day had put out.

Me: Oh, that's easy. 1039 Smoothed Out Slappy Hours, Kerplunk, Dookie, Insomniac, Nimrod, Warning, International Superhits, Shenanigans, and American Idiot.

DJ: Congratulations, caller, you just won a front row ticket to Green Day and a backstage pass to meet them after the show.

Me: Thank you so much!

So, after I hung up, I was really excited. I wanted to write Tre and tell him I was going to see him in a 5 days, but I wanted to keep it a surprise. I wonder how much he has changed in 12 years.
