Horny, Corny and Loving You, chapter 7
"Do you want to go for a walk with me?" he asked when the commercials came on.
"Sure," I said lifting myself off of the loveseat. We told Billie we'd be back he just nodded. He was really quiet today. We walked outside into the balmy night air.
"What's up with Billie?" I asked Tre as we walked down the sidewalk hand in hand.
"He's been weird all day since Adrienne called earlier while you were out." I nodded.
"He gets that way sometimes when he misses her," I said. He nodded.
"So did you get anything good at the mall?" he said changing the subject. I told him about my shirts I got. We were passing the playground.
"Do you want to go in?" I asked he said sure and we raced to the swings. I won.
"Because you lost you have to push me." I said taking a seat on one of the swings.
"No fair I let you win," He whined.
"Nuh uh," I said, knowing that he would just yah huh me right back. This went on for a few minutes until he gave up and pushed me. I told him he could stop after a while. He sat down on the swing beside me. I got you something I said remembering the rings in my pocket.
"Ooh I love presents gimme," He said like a little kid I laughed and took the box out of my pocket. I handed him the box and he opened it.
"There promise rings there's one for me and one for you," I said. I took one of the rings out of the small box and put it on his finger it fit perfect. He smiled and looked down at it on his finger.
"You don't have to wear it if you don't want to." I said but he stopped me.
"I love it and I love you," He said and he took the other ring out of the box and placed it on my finger. I love him I thought and then we kissed.
"You know for a spaz you can be pretty sweet sometimes," I said to him. He laughed.
"Mike and Billie are going to make fun of me for wearing this aren't they," he said.
"Yup probably," I said. He smiled. He got up off the swing and pulled me off of mine.
"Should we go back now?" I asked after we walked around the park for a while.
"Yeah it's getting late," He said. We walked out of the park and back to the house. Billie was still sitting on the couch where we'd left him.
"Where are Aud and Mike?" I asked.
"There still in the kitchen." He said not phased that they had been getting drinks for almost an hour. Tre and I went into the kitchen and saw Mike and Aud making out. Aud was up against the refrigerator with Mikes tongue in her mouth.
"Excuse me can you please get a room?" I asked. Audrey jumped and pushed Mike away from her. He turned and saw us. He had Audrey's smudged red lipstick on his lips.Tre and I burst out laughing.
"What?" he asked unaware.
"Nice lipstick Mike," I said.
"Yes it's definitely your color," Tre added. We laughed even more when he caught on and started frantically wiping his lips on his sleeve. Audrey blushed around 50 shades of red. Mike was mad at me and Tre for ruining his moment with Aud.
"Shut up its not funny!" we took the hint and stopped just as Bill came in to see what was so funny. He laughed at Mike but Mike ignored him. We told Bill how we had caught them sucking each other's lips off.
"People have to eat in here," Billie said to Mike who just glared at him. He asked Aud if she wanted to stay over. She accepted his offer and he told her she could stay on the pull out in the basement which was now permanently pulled out due to Tre never leaving. He was moved down there because Billie complained that he needed the couch in the living room.
"Hey, where will I stay?" Tre asked Mike when he heard his bed was being given away.
"Somewhere else," Mike answered leaving the kitchen with Audrey. Billie went back to the living room.
"Good night," Aud said. I told her good night and she followed Mike down the basement stairs. I looked over at Tre who was pouting.
"You can stay at my house," I told Tre.
"That's way better than staying here," he said and smirked then he kissed me.
