*Kelsey's POV*

"I hate coming to the mall."

"Why?"

"'Cause I have no money." Rhiannon spat.

Me and Rhi had been friends since seventh grade, seven years ago. I'm eighteen, just about nineteen, and Rhiannon is turning eighteen in seven days, so in celebration of the occasion we decided to go down to Oakland, California.
The place where our favorite band, Green Day lived. But we forgot one very important thing; Spending money. We passed an especially shiny store window, and Rhi paused and made funny faces to the extremely well-dressed mannequins, I joined in after examining our reflections. Rhi just got her white-blonde hair cut into an "emo" fringe over one eye with a faux-hawk behind, the tips dyed a dark violet-back and it set off her pale face and hair dramatically. Her pure grey-blue eyes stuck out stunningly as she crossed them and stuck out her tongue. I looked at myself. We had both grown a few inches over the years, and leaned out a bit more, but I looked basically the same as in nineth grade, just a little thinner. My ebony hair was cut short and streaked with red, my own pale olive skin and yellow-brown eyes making me look exotic, even though I was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The store owner came out, and talking in a rough French accent, chased the giggling and talking us.

We found a bench to sit on and watch all the people go by. They probably have money to waste instead of time. I sigh, then she returns the favor.

"I NEED SOME FREAKING MONEY!!!" She screamed. And I mean, SCREAMS. She always says that most people don't know how to scream, they just kinda moan pathetically. She sounds as if she's about to kill you when she screams, so I cover my ears and cry

"No! Don't DO that!"

"Sorry." She says, smirking.

The people who looked at us strangely hurried their kids away, shaking their head disapprovingly. Rhi growls at them, snapping her jaws like a crocodile at a small girl. She giggles and waves at Rhiannon before grabbing her mother's hand and walking away. Rhiannon recently got laser eye treatment, and it's kind of weird seeing her seeing without her glasses. Not that you can see her seeing. 'Cause you can only see one eye. But whatever.

"Yeah, right." I say, uncovering my ears and leaning on my knees. She sighs again before slumping against the wooden bench and rolling her head on the top of the back.

"You know what'd be good right now?"

"What?" I sigh. I know what's coming.

"Some ice cream. Oh wait." She sits up stick-straight.

"That costs MONEY! Which we don't HAVE!" and soon we're bickering again.

*Billie's POV*

This was a bad idea. Just bad all around. I should have known when Adie said "Let's bring the kids to the mall!" I can remember that conversation.

"Yeah, sure. I'll go get Jake and Joey."

"No, I mean all the kids." I snapped my head up.

"There's more?" She laughed.

"Yeah. Three more.

"THREE?!?" I cried. I was shocked. She laughed again.

"Yeah. Stella, Ramona and Frankito. They're all in town."

"Okay, yeah. That sounds like fun." I put a hand against my chest.

"You just about gave me a heart attack, Adrienne." I pretended to be angry, but I really was relieved.

"I'm sorry, Billie." She whispered before we... Well... You know.

And now it was complete chaos. With Tre it was like six kids, and I'm sure the slurpee things we gave them didn't help much either.

"Joey, stop biting Frankito!

"Stella, stop punching Jakob and making him cry!"

"TRE! Stop picking up Ramona and spinning her around in a circle to hit little old ladies!" Mike, Adie and I all looked at each other, exhausted. Then my cell rang. Desperate for something other than yelling at the six children, I walked off. The ID on it said 'Robert', our manager at Reprise. I sighed inwardly and clicked 'Talk'.

"Hello."

"Hey, Bill."

"My name is Billie."

"Yeah, right. Whatever. Listen, I got you an amazing gig. Guess who's headlining a week-long tour in England, starting tomorrow?" My eyes dialated with anger.

"WHAT?! You didn't..."

"Yep. Get packed, and bring your wife along." 'click'

The ass hung up on me! I turned and walked over to where Adie and Mike were practically clawing the kid's to get them to sit a table in the food court. I told them I needed to talk to Adie, Mike and Tre and if they would sit there and be quiet I would pay them each ten dollars.

They shut their mouths and sat stick-straight. The loss of innocence among children is depressing. I pulled the four of them over and explained what happened. We couldn't back out of it, so we guessed we were packing. Adrienne was happy that at least this time she would be coming, but where would the kids go? Mike and Tre both whipped out their cells, and we found that Claudia, Lisea AND Anastasia were all busy, so they couldn't take them. We looked at each other in panic. We couldn't leave them in a public daycare, what if they got kidnapped? At that moment, we heard a young girl in distress. Tre's ears perked up like a blood hound and took off running. We sighed and gathered the kids, running after him as well.
