A New Hero, chapter 1
In a small town on the ouskirts of San Diego, a young boy named Carson was playing outside. He was just a normal 7 year kid, bratty and thought he was better than everyone else. Carson's mother was inside their house making dinner. Suddenly the sky growled. Carson looked up and a rain drop fell on his face. Another one fell on his hand. Soon the rain was falling so thick that Carson could'nt see at all.
"Carson, sweetie, where are you?" his mother called from somewhere in the rain.
"Mommy, I can't see. Help Me!" Carson cried, tears welling up in his eyes. He ran around blindly, untill he hit a tree and fell down crying. Then through the rain Carson saw a very bright light. Thinking it was his house he ran right to it. It wasn't his house though. It was the streetlight. Carson moaned then sat down on the ground.
"Carson. Come to Mommy's voice...Carson?" his mother called. She sounded very worried. Carson sat on the edge of the street. Suddenly a big black van sped around the corner. It stopped right next to Carson's house. The lights on the car went out and it was very still. Then Carson felt something grab him. He screamed.
" AHHHH!" He was picked up. Whoever was holding him was taking him to the big black van. " Mommy! Heeelllpppp!!!" he hollered as loud as he could.
"If you scream one more time, you'll be sorry you were ever born." a harsh voice whispered in Carson's ear. Carson quivered then shut up. He was thrown in the back of the van. Through the window he saw his mother running around in the rain trying to find him. With a lurch the van shot foward and Carson was thrown to the side of the van. He raced to the window to watch his life speeding away from him.

The Van slowly stopped. Carson was sitting in the very back holding his knees. The Doors were thrown open and he finally saw his kidnappers. They were very tall and had long hair. They all had giant muscles that seemed to shine in the dark. One of them stepped foward and glared at Carson.
"Out" he ordered. Carson scurried out of the van. As soon as he hit the ground, someone hit him on the back of the head. Carson let out a gasp of pain and then felt tears coming to his eyes.
" If you cry, it will only make things much, much worse" the man said. The rest of them laughed a low laugh that made Carson shiver. Another man stepped foward and tied a rope to his wrists, tight.
" My name is Alex. You will be staying with us for a while," he said. He looked around at his 'friends'. " This is Mark, that's Drew, and that is Ryan." Alex said pointing them out. Each of the men waved hello, but it was'nt friendly.
" We have taken you from your home to work, and for nothing else. This isn't camp FunLand. You work to live, okay?" Mark growled.
" Yes sir " Carson said quietly. Mark slapped him accross the face. Carson winced and glared at him.
" No one gave you permission to talk." Mark said while laughing. Drew grabbed the ropes and half dragged Carson to a small shack. It was old and really wet. Drew opened the door and shoved Carson into it. then tied the ropes to a metal rod, and closed the door.
"Nighty Night boy" Drew mumbled. Carson sat down on the floor. His wrists were bleeding from the rope. he spit on one hand and rubbed it on the wound. A tear fell from his face and hit the cut. It burned, badly. Carson laid down and tryed to remember his mother. It seemed like forever since he had last seen her, even thought it was only a couple of hours. Had he said he loved her lately. Would he ever get to again? The thought of her made him cry. Slowly he curled himself into a ball and cried himself to sleep.
