Wake up..., chapter 1
"Shit!" Anna said cursing under her breath. It was raining... again. Anna usually didn't mind the rain but today she just wasn't in the mood.
"C'mon!" Mike said grabbing Anna's hand and pulling her through the rain to the car.
It was a half hour drive from the parking lot where Anna's car was parked to their house and Mike fell asleep on the way, he had played a concert in San Diego the night before and was very tired.
"Mike...Mike wake up," Anna said softly in his ear as the mini drove into the driveway of their home.
"Hmmm?" Mike replied not even opening his eyes
"We're home." said Anna turning off the engine and opening the car door
Mike and Anna got out of the car and walked inside hand in hand.
"Brrrrrrrrrr," said Mike shaking the wet out of his brown hair and taking off his jacket.
"Jesus, it's really coming down." said Anna staring out of the window.
"What are we doing tonight?" she said turning back to Mike with a sexy look in her eyes.
Mike grabbed her around the waist and held her close,"We, my love, are going out to dinner at the Blue Lagoon and then we are going to the movies." he whispered into her ear.
"Oh you romantic you." she smiled before kissing him...
Mike had reserved a table for two at six o'clock and it was now three so Anna thought it'd best start to get ready now.
So she had a shower and then she decided what to wear.
The Blue Lagoon was a very fancy restaurant so she thought that she'd wear a nice deep blue dress.
She had jet-black hair that went just past her shoulder blades.
She decided to keep it long and just let it flow elegantly down her back.
She was finally finished and it was only five.
Anna's P.O.V
Mike came downstairs and when he walked in he just gasped.
"Holy shit... you look unbelievable!" he said giving me a sexy smile
"You look sexy too!" I said giving him a twirl before walking over to him and giving him a kiss.
Mike was wearing a black shirt with black pants and shoes. He put on his cufflinks and his black blazer.
I turned around and what met my eyes shocked me so much that I nearly fell over. It was a ring a giant diamond ring with fourteen sapphires running around it.
"Anna... " started Mike
"Will you marry me?"
His eyes were glittering like stars
"Of course I'll marry you! Oh Mike!" Anna said starting to cry from all the happiness that she could feel spreading to her fingertips.
This had to be the best night of my life! I thought to myself.
We were ready to go and it was just gone half five, A personal best!!!
We decided to take Mike's BMW so we both got in and drove to the city.
We arrived outside the restaurant and parked the car; we got out and walked to the restaurant.
The rain had finally stopped but it was still cold and very wet.
Mike put his arm around my waist, he was always so warm.
The restaurant was so warm and nice.
"Reservation for two under Dirnt," said Mike to the woman at the desk.
"Right this way please," she said politely, leading us to a table with a beautiful rose and two chairs.
We sat down and gazed into each other, their ice blue eyes reflecting their feelings for one another.
Then a waiter came and gave us two menus.
"Thanks." Mike and I said in unison.
I looked at the menu and decided to have a chicken caeser salad.
Mike said he'd have the same.
I glanced around the restaurant and noticed that it looked just like a Parisian brasserie.
I came back to earth when Mike put his hand on mine.
I turned around and he was looking at me with a little grin on his face.
"I love you, and nothing in the world will ever change that;" Mike said and then he kissed me lovingly.
I kissed him back and we probably would have done it right there and then if it hadn't been for the waiter coming to ask us if we were ready to order.
We gave him our orders and as soon as he went away we started to burst out laughing.
When we had finished our banquet, we paid our bill and, we left to go to the movies.
"I love you too Mike..." I said to Mike outside the restaurant, pulling him into a hug.
As we were walking back to the car there was a moment when I felt so happy that I loved Mike, and that he loved me too, that I just wished I could have that feeling forever.
When we finally got to the car we just couldn't stop smiling.
Mike started the car and pulled out of the parking lot and onto the road.
We were driving for a few minutes and I saw a white light and then the smiling stopped.
"Mike!!!" I screamed and the car twisted and turned trough the air and came flying down with a smash.
The sound that followed was the worst sound I could hear at this time... all I heard was silence.
"C'mon!" Mike said grabbing Anna's hand and pulling her through the rain to the car.
